  • I do this. Not sure why. But I noticed a few months ago that when I got super strict & had no fun foods , it made things worse for me. It was like when I was a kid, my mom would tell me not to touch something. I would have to touch it , regardless of the consequences. Food is the same way. If I am insanely strict & tell…
  • Fellow binge eater here, except I am over weight :( (5 kids, being lazy & suffering from a BED = me needing to loose weight). Welcome back. Feel free to add me as a friend if you would like :)
  • Originally from Florida, currently live in Cartersville,Ga.
  • NSV for me was that I completed day 10 of great eating & eating all of my meals from home (Minus 2). This is a big deal for me as I am used to eating out daily. And I chose not to go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for dinner. That is a really big deal for me. lol
  • Welcome. I totally know where you are coming from. Growing up, I was in super shape. Sports hid my eating addiction ( I suffer from a binge eating disorder). Graduated school, had kids (5) ,became less active & well, thats why I am here now. Good luck! You can do it :)
  • Welcome & Congrats on your new journey. I am on day 9. So far ,so good. Today has been my hungriest day so far. I am going to research some more snack ideas. The only advice I can think of is for the fiber, mix it with some of your Spark (If you are using the citrus fiber) & chug!. It will make life easier..LOL
  • I usually do an official weigh in on Friday morning. But I will also weigh in every other day or so just to see how things are going.
  • I would love to join, please.
  • Ex-WW-er here. I got to goal many years ago before they changed the program. Once they changed things I never was able to stick with it . You learn how to cheat the system. Counting cals & eating clean seems to work pretty good for me so far. Glad I was told about this place :)
  • Just wanted to say Good Luck on your journey! Even though your line of work can make it a little more complicated- it can be done. And it helps having such a great support system as you do with your wife :) BTW: When she mentioned DragonCon, I knew one thing- you guys live in Georgia ..lol ;)

  • Being fast food hamburger free is one of my long term goals. We used to LIVE at FF places. And I could binge on them like it was nothing. Congrats on being able to break that habit :)
  • Please do not listen to other people. Listen to your body & doctor. I made the mistake of listening to others telling me that I was too thin a few years ago & it completely derailed me & my progress. I never understood why people feel the need to tell people things like that.
  • I currently reside in Georgia, but my home is Tampa,Fl.
  • I agree with the post above me . If your eating is not under control, the surgery will not work. I know some people who have had GREAT success then there are others who are almost as bad now as they were pre-surgery. I had thought about it for me, but being that I suffer from a ED, it would not be worth the risk for me as…
