  • I can never see it in the mirror, the only place I see it is in photographs. Try taking some photos now then some in a few months time, and compare them to old photos, and see if you see a difference.
  • It's been 15lb a dress size for me, pretty consistently but is different for everyone! It has also taken me about 2 years to lose it altogether x
  • I think the term 'anoriexic' is sometimes used by medical professionals to describe someone with a BMI of under 18, my sister was described as anorexic for her low weight by a doctor and it didn't mean she was suffering from actually suffering from anorexia. I'd never heard of it before my sister told me, she could be just…
  • Those 440 calories of lemon drizzle muffin are totally worth it anyway lol :)
  • You look fantastic! 100% ignore them, you look the picture of health, and what's more you feel good in yourself and that's what matters most! Your body is your business, I would tell them politely that you are just fine the way you are thankyouverymuch and just let them get used to your new size, it's probably just gonna…
  • Erm where does it say they are sleeping together lol?
  • I run a few times a week, I'm currently doing 10k races but may well be moving up to half marathons for next year :) you can add me but I am in the UK x
  • He shoulda maybe had a bit less quorn and a few more carbs before the London Marathon lol :) Just kidding I love Mo, and yeah I agree they're both important!
  • Gamer 24k, You're acting as though these are only for people who are overweight, they're not, even very thin people who do not *need* to lose weight can have low self-esteem. Also, while you are on your journey, and still losing, it's easy to beat yourself up because you are not the weight you want to be yet. It's nice for…
  • You can look like Beyoncé and still hate your body, sometimes you just need someone to tell you you're a worthwhile person and to love yourself, no matter what your size. I have dieted out of hating myself, and (surprise!) it didn't work. I have changed my diet out of love for myself - and it worked.
  • Yes I had them a couple of weeks ago on a break from cereal :) Just mind the butter and make sure you don't put a heap of jam on if you're watching your sugar :)

  • Bang on 10lb to lose :) log in every day, you can add me! x
  • I would wait until you've lost the weight and then maintained for a bit, best to let your body settle into your new weight then you know exactly how your fingers are going to be from then on. I've lost 37lb altogether and 2.5 ring sizes, am waiting to lose the last 10lb before seeing if mine will be able to go smaller. I…
  • I'm up in York, definitely visit there! But as for London, so much to do! Off the beaten track - Columbia Road flower market Little Venice and Regent's canal Primrose Hill Japanese Gardens at Holland Park Lord Leighton's House A little more touristy- The Cutty Sark and Royal Observatory The Courtauld Gallery Afternoon tea…
  • Thank you for your kind replies everyone, glad I'm not alone in the worrying and really hope you guys all feel better soon. I think the photos make it worse, you only get one day if you know what I mean! I'm just gonna keep up my exercise and try and feel healthy in myself, and hope I feel better in myself on my big day.…
  • A lie in, a nice breakfast, a lazy walk in the countryside and then a Sunday roast dinner. Later on it's a snuggle on the sofa and a good film to wind down before Monday comes round!
  • East Yorkshire over here so not too far away.. join Team UK, there's loads of us on there! And add me if you like my profile :)
  • This might sound strange, but are you sure it's not just that you struggle with the first mile? I ran a 10k cross country race last weekend, and honestly on that first mile I feel awful sometimes, like I can't run at all, then by mile 3 I'm flying lol. Could you be hitting the wall early on? Or could it be maybe a mental…
  • I think all the advice so far has been good :) but when I read your post, my first instinct was this person needs some tough love! If you have all the tools, the goals, and the know-how - then it's all up to you to just go and get it! Stop using a lack of motivation as an excuse to be lazy - don't overthink it, just get up…
  • This just made me giggle. EAT THE SNICKERS! Enjoy every mouthful lol :)
  • 30lb down, 10lb to go, feel free to add me :)
  • Hello, I had a look at your BMI and it seems that if you are already a healthy weight, so it is not going to be easy for you to lose weight quickly. I would suggest that you look at making sustainable changes to your diet, cutting out snacks and make lower calories swaps for example. Keep up with your exercise and stick…
  • I do a 5k on the elliptical in 40 mins (middle resistance) but have run a 29 minute 5k... the two are completely different
  • I'm 26 and up in Yorkshire :) been on here a while and still got 12lb to go! Feel free to add me :)
  • Senna, great documentary but just as sad second time around :frown:
  • I often shop alone, which means eating alone come lunch time. Sometimes I just get a sandwich and eat it on the move, but sometimes I like to eat alone in a restaurant. I think that once I get over the awkwardness of asking for a table for one I enjoy it, makes me feel really independent :) If you enjoy it go ahead, think…
  • I'm giving up desserts. It's gonna be hard on a weekend not having any cheesecake but I think it'll save me a good few calories :)
  • My fiancé is the same, the other night it drove me mad how much he ate after we'd already had dinner - he watched me do weights while he sat eating cookies. Not fair, he is so skinny! I think it will get easier in time if you've only just moved in together there will be lots of teething problems and learning to compromise,…
  • Yeah because cakes and biscuits and cheesecake and pastries weren't invented before the 70s... What a joke! One of the biggest difference is that lifestyles are more sedentary, and food is more available - we have to watch what we eat when we're less active... and one easy way is to count calories
