Want to lose stone/ stone and half by july!! HELP

Hiya, I'm an 18 year old females who is 9 stone and 5ft. I want to be 8 stone by july, preferably 7 stone and half. Im finding it difficult as im allergic to fruit and nuts and have ibs which makes it hard to plan food and snacks ect. I try to go on the cross trainer for 40 minutes a night. I was just wandering if you could give me some advice on loosing this weight QUICKY!!! Thank you x

    Hello,

    I had a look at your BMI and it seems that if you are already a healthy weight, so it is not going to be easy for you to lose weight quickly. I would suggest that you look at making sustainable changes to your diet, cutting out snacks and make lower calories swaps for example.

    Keep up with your exercise and stick within your calorie goal and you will see results!

    I have IBS too so I know how you feel, it isn't always easy to find the motivation to exercise when you feel bad! But honestly it is better to do this slowly and make the weight loss stick than do it quickly and unhealthily and yo yo back up again.

    Is there any reason why you want to lose the weight in the next 3 months?

    I'm only 5'1" and can tell you honestly we shorties do not lose very quickly. It has taken me nine months to lose 11 pounds. Set your goal in MFP to lose 0.5 pound a week, and eat back your exercise calories (really, you need to do this as a shortie or your intake will fall below your BMR). Find out your BMR and never, ever eat below it (if you do, you'll be tired and very hungry all the time setting yourself up for failure). If you are patient and focused and don't eat too little, you will make progress. Good luck, and if you want some support, feel free to friend me.
  • Hiya! Thank you very much for the advice! And yeah im going on holiday in july with all my friends and dont want to look a lump! I know i can do it because i lost a lot ot weight over chirstmas due to my ibs, but this was done through fear of eating, so i just didnt eat, which isnt a good way to loose it! I just want to have a flat stomach! Hahaa!
