  • Fast-food wise Wendy's chili (no crackers or cheese) and a garden side salad (no dressing or a little bit) is a great go-to meal, under 300 calories and the chili will really fill you up for less than $5 for both. Oh and the grilled chicken with shrimp skewer on the Red Lobster lunch menu comes with rice and steamed…
  • While I am not currently living in Nebraska, I *am* (and will always be) a Husker at heart! (Augusta, Georgia) :flowerforyou:
  • I haven't thought of using Almond Milk instead of water - great idea! I add one tablespoon of freshly ground almond butter, some cinnamon and a tablespoon of Grade B maple syrup to mine - probably have that 3-4 days a week.
  • 6 day to WDW. I can hardly stand it! Down almost 15 pounds and ready to tackle all the walking - I might even leave my family in the dust as one of our days there is when Magic Kingdom is open for 24 hours!
  • Disneyland - 1 time Disney World - 3 times (again May 2013) Disney Cruise - 1 time (loved it, would do again)
  • 29 days until Disney World and 12 pounds down. Hoping to reach the 15 pounds GONE mark before we leave. Buying a pedometer so I can keep track of ALL the walking we will be doing so I can indulge in a Dole Whip or a Mickey ice cream treat! Hurry up calendar!
  • Welcome back. I will give you an add!
  • Please don't forget that you should be eating BACK your exercise calories. So if you have 1200 calories a day, but burn 350 at the gym in the evening, you need to be eating those back. Too few calories will stall your progress. Working out in the morning (if possible for you) helps you know exactly what you have extra for…
  • A pound is a pound - fat or muscle, it is the same pound; however, a pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. Inches lost and how your clothes fit (or don't fit) is a great indicator of how you're doing. If you exercise, eat your exercise calories back. Don't be afraid to eat -- make better choices about…
  • Cracker Barrel - Biscuits and Gravy, Grits, Sausage, Eggs, Blueberry Pancakes
  • 71 days until WDW!
  • "I am staying well under my calories..." Please eat your calories. Double check the numbers you put in first but then eat every calorie you are allowed...including the ones you exercise away. If you get 1400 but then do 200 calories worth of exercise, eat up those 200 calories so you are always eating your 1400 (example…
  • DisneyWorld - May 22-27, 2013 - last trip to WDW was January 2009 and I was a lot heavier. I cannot wait to compare pictures. I started my get fit & healthy journey in March 2011, hit my first goal of 30 lbs lost in September 2011. I maintained that goal for 19 months and just started my journey to lose another 30 lbs 3…
