  • Good to know someone enjoyed that other than me haha. Well you just never really know, ya know?
  • Thanks. I must admit I have pretty high standards for hitting that box too lol. My ideal workout would be no modified versions and no rests and keeping up with them for me to check the "Nailed it" box. Once the soreness wears off, I'll be able to go on more bike rides too... well after my butt gets used to the bicycle…
  • I know you feel. I left MFP for the better part of a year and now that I've come back.. most of my friends are deactivated or unfriended me due to my inactivity. Just finished day 5 of Focus T 25 with Shaun T though... double workout Friday is a doosey/doosie/doozy. I really don't know the proper spelling, although I guess…
  • Minority Report. Also worth mentioning is Collateral Damage. I have no issues with Tom Cruise. Ya, he may be a crackpot in real life, but so what? That guy is one amazing actor. About him being "fake". He's an actor, it's hit job to be fake.
  • I regularly get emails from a Russian girl named Yuliya. Pretty much the same thing. I asked her why her IP address kept changing. How could she be in Germany, then California, if she lives in Russia and supposedly makes crap money? She replied "I dont understand about ip... I just using Internet cafe" Then I ignored her,…
  • I LOVE me some Sarah Michelle Gellar. Can we make this topic about her instead? Add me if you think she's awesome and stuff.
  • Ladies, if I correct your form, it's not because I want to sleep with you (it may be true, but that's not the reason). It's because your form sucks and you could hurt yourself. If you have great form, I wouldn't correct it. I also wouldn't give out random "tips" to girls I would bang in a gym, but that's just me. I use my…
  • There are ads on this site? I never knew.
  • Also, the gym is a very busy place sometimes. I know I have my "favorite" machines. Or I like to do a series of machines after other ones, and you may just happen to be there. I may ask to work in or use the machine next to you to make sure you aren't using it, proper gym etiquette and all. It doesn't have anything to do…
  • I always over-think things, does that mean I'm a girl too? I'm not sure if I'm shy or not. I have some social anxiety, but I'll talk to people too. I wouldn't ever approach a girl I liked in a gym though. I'd also do my best to notice them without them noticing me. If a girl came up to me like you did I would smile and be…
  • I kind of liked MREs. Well, as long as I avoided the "bad" ones.
  • About 5 years ago I was up to about 87 pushups in one set. One day I did 6 sets of 50 pushups within a couple of hours. Now, however, I've let myself get out of shape but the past 2 months I've been doing well. I've only done pushups for warm ups before a chest workout though, so I don't know how many I can do right now. I…
  • I always thought it was "Ciala's got a plan for you..." After many listens, I finally had an epiphany and figured out it was "See heaven's got a plan for you..."
  • I don't know how old your son is or how much he weighs, but a 500lb 18 year old male who is moderately active (sports or exercise 3-5 times a week) has a TDEE of around 6000. IF he was 300 lbs, however, and still moderately active, his TDEE would be about 4200, which would mean a 20% reduction in TDEE is about 3300.
  • http://www.fat2fitradio.com/ and http://www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/ They both have BMR calculators and TDEE estimations.
  • What is his weight and projected activity level? That TDEE seems pretty high still.
  • This. Like times 9001.
  • I haven't met one yet. Every time there's a girl that is strong and some guys I'm around jokingly say "Holy crap, her muscles are huge. She could definitely kick all of our butts." I always respond with "Speak for yourself." I'm not saying I'd be uncool with a woman being stronger than me, but being strong has sort of been…
  • Still a work in progress for me. And my shoulders are flexed at uneven heights :( I don't feel like retaking right now though.
  • Would watch her life heavy things.
  • I mostly put weight on in my gut. I don't really remember it being hard though. Highest recorded weight for me is 244lbs. I'm now down to about 228 and have gone from a 44" waist to a 40" waist in 2 months. I still have a healthy amount of fat in that gut though. Actually, I'm pretty sure 70% of my body fat is in my gut,…
  • So you're saying I have a chance to be a teen model?
  • So, how you doin'?
  • Hey, I've got a tooth gap too! Mine isn't all that noticeable though. Also, there's a good chance I might get it "fixed" in the near future, been seeing the dentist lately.
  • That guy from the new show Arrow who plays Oliver Queen. Or Ryan Reynolds. Or Channing Tatum. They all have similar body comps.
  • I eat around 2000 calories a day. I've lost 4 inches off of my waist in 2 months, 15 total lbs weight loss. I don't feel tired, or grouchy, or that it's "hard". I feel fine. I enjoy my workouts because I eat enough to give me the energy to plow through them. I still eat at a deficit, but a healthy enough amount to where I…
  • I should find out what my 1rm is on all my workouts, then post them here to show how strong I am, right? Is that not a show of my "real strength". Please, teach me.
  • I just really like this picture.
  • Of course, I rarely drink soda anymore, period. Quitting soda had nothing to do with health or losing weight though. I wanted to stop torturing my teeth! I have some every now and then though.
