Added you. 26, I can use all the support I can get. My diary is open to friends.

I had this happen to me at the beginning. People would make comments, tell me to just eat chocolate, when I ate chocolate say 'I thought you were on a diet!'. Now a year of maintanence and people have stopped. They have got used to how I look. They have realized I'm healthy and use moderation. Now they don't seem to care.

If you are losing 1 lb a week then you are all good as far as your deficit goes. I say add 500 cals. Log a sweet. Don't beat yourself up about it. If you are concerned about eating too many sweets and the sugar or whatnot, add an extra small meal or snack that is of a similar calorie amount. I eat sweets or chips if I want…

I'm usually at 1600 during the week and 2000 on weekends. Add me if you want.

Since I have lost weight I have become MORE of a foodie. I've learned so much more about food, and instead of eating quick foods, I have fallen in love with cooking and baking from scratch. Food is definitely one of my hobbies and I'm 49 lb down and maintaining.

I weigh myself every morning at the same time. This gives me a good idea of how my weight fluctuates. Also because I am in maintenence I don't necessarily track my calories unless I notice a change in my weight above and beyond the normal fluctuations.

You will, I am sure, look lovely for this event! Unless you are trying make weight for some type of sport thing, there is no reason you shouldn't go as you are. However, maybe you could see this as an opportunity to begin to work towards this goal and in a few months you can get there (just in time for summer).

This is a struggle for me. Sometimes I plan a snack for late or eat half my dinner at dinner and half later. Planning ahead and being aware that I'm going to want food help. Making sure I have food on hand I'm fine to eat or I don't have food I don't think I should be eating helps to keep me on track.

The wagon I am on involves eating delicious food that ranges from veggies and lean proteins to burgers and pizzas. I haven't fallen off of my delicious wagon, I'm just enjoying my life.

On grocery day I prelog the week sometimes but if I prelog I try to leave a couple hundred calories for variables.

Added :)

Reducing my coffee intake to one cup in the morning helped me radically sleep wise. Good luck.

Good job and good luck!! If you want you can friend me. I'm glad that you didn't let any holiday set backs keep you from you goals. You can totally do this.

I am in maintanence at 155-160 and very happy!
-
Awesome! Will add you.

At work people did this constantly for a few months after I dropped the weight. But now at about 7 months maintaining they seem to have gotten the picture that I can eat what I wish in moderation and nothing is 'against my diet'.

I don't usually eat lunch and somehow I've been losing weight or maintaining for two and a half years. Even if your not hungry in the morning have something quick and nutrient dense. Bring a 'lunch' with you to eat on your way home. Eat dinner at 6:30. Done. Boom. Three meals. Not to mention you could just eat one well…

A couple of coworkers told another coworker that I've lost too much weight and should have medical testing done. I think they were kidding? Same coworker asked me why I was eating sushi on a diet. I've never claimed to be on a diet. I told him I eat whatever I freaking want to eat and I'm not on a diet. Another woman at…

We eat relatively healthy on $130 per week for a family of three, which seems cheap as heck to me. My husband and I are trying to lose weight though. I assume if you are trying to build muscle it would get pricy. I don't know who goes to McDonalds and eats a 1$ burger either. If I were to go to a fast food restaurant I…

Do you log at a deficit and weigh all of your food? Do you try to make your week still balance out even when you binge? How often do you binge? Over the two years how many days have you logged everything that you have eaten? What motivates you in other areas of your life? I feel motivated when I see it working. It works…

I tell people I use a free app called myfitnesspal. People mostly get all excited and then ask what it does, when I say it just helps figure out how many calories you should be eating and makes counting calories easier, I usually get "Oh counting calories is not for me, I have a friend who is doing *insert weird fad diet*,…

I think the thousands of people using MFP and progressing would say yes. I've lost 41.5 lb without ever even seeing this plan. I would take what seems useful from the plan and form your own plan.

I need to learn to make such heaping meals at a lower calorie. It would make my heaping-plate-full-of-food loving husband very happy! I'm adding you if you don't mind. I need meal ideas. I'm okay with a small bowel of calorie dense food, but all those I cook for are not.
-
Just keep starting again. Just because you over ate doesn't mean that you aren't making progress. Just trying is better than not trying at all. I bet there are things you have chosen to not eat, that you would have eaten if you hadn't been trying. I would recommend sitting down one day a week and planning what you are…

I've lost 40 and have 10-15 to go. The scale hasn't changed in two weeks. I am just trying to push through, track more regularly, work out harder. It is tough. Anyone else who is in the same boat feel free to add me.

I would love to join!

I'm 19 months post partum and I'm now working on losing what I gained before I got pregnant. It takes time. Our bodies are recovering in a lot of ways, and we usually aren't getting the best sleep. Go easy on yourself. Expect it to take time. But, you can do it!
