  • If you are a wine-o, go for moscato. I have my cheapy barefoot moscato anytime I need to take the edge off. 5 oz is 127 calories but at the same rate, it's a once in a lifetime thing, ENJOY your day.
  • My cheat days usually consist of a normal healthy breakfast and lunch. I then have what I want for dinner. - My vice is pizza with a coke. I try not to overdue it on cheat day meals but sometimes it's hard. - As far as alcohol, I am not really a drinker as it is, but I am content with a glass of wine or two if I ''have''…
  • It contains more than 70 natural ingredients derived from rich, nutrient-dense whole-food sources from around the world. Shakeology is so incredibly healthy, no other single food item out there can supply you with all the nutrients, vitamins, proteins, and minerals in the amounts you need the way one delicious shake can.…
  • LOVE it. It took a bit of adjusting to the taste but it's awesome. It has helped with my cravings, weightloss, energy level and I have NOT been sick since I've been drinking it, at all.
  • You need to eat your exercise calories back. If you don't your body is going to store what it's already consumed which will stunt the weight loss or actually make you gain. Healthy carbs and fats, lean proteins to gain muscle to burn even more. And like the one said, if you are questioning if you are eating too little, you…
  • WOW! Congratulations! I LOVE the Nike running app too!!! Super motivational! Keep going! =)
  • Be patient. Easier said than done, but it hasn't been long enough. -- I was pushing a size 18 not so long ago, now the 14's are falling off, and it took about 3 months to see a big difference in the 'belly' area. It's still disappearing slowly but I can feel muscle under the flab so...it's a LONG journey. But, already in…
  • Well, I am 5'7, 'large' frame, started at 187, down to 158, aiming for 140'ish and then to TONE so probably will add a few pounds of muscle, so maybe 145. But overall, the goal is HEALTHY, have to see when I get there. =)
  • Are you not eating enough calories? You need to eat back your calories when you workout, otherwise your body stores what you've had and end up NOT losing, or gaining. Also, are you being honest about your food log? Are you eating 5 cookies instead of 2 that you logged? Or what about alcohol and any drinks that aren't…
  • For every pound lost, put away a dollar or two. Every ten or twenty pounds, go and buy yourself something new. New workout gear, or continue to save it and go on vacation as a reward. Just keep moving. It will get easier the more you lose and it will feel better each time. You CAN do it!
  • Same time every morning but I tend to just lay in bed for 10 or 15 minutes on the weekend as I am 'not on duty'......as far as naps, typically only if I am REALLY tired or not feeling well. My 3 and 5 year old duty keeps me awake, besides exercising and preparing the next meal, cleaning, or getting them outside if it's…
  • Keep moving! No pain, no gain, unless you seriously tweeked something or pulled a muscle, then keep going. The muscles are hurting because they haven't been used. Push through the pain to see the results. You CAN do it!
  • Just looked at my mortons salt, ONE QUARTER TEASPOON is 590 mg -- Hope it helps!
  • How about some peaches? Or pears? Or prunes? -- More fiber! Your water intake sounds good, so aim for fiber and one of those lovely make you go fruits. =)
  • You need to eat more than you are burning, so if this is what you have been doing it's the reason you aren't losing. If you are under then the body is storing what you eat. Try throwing in something new 2 or 3 days a week to change up the routine. Just like food, feed the body something different so it's confused. Also,…
  • Drink less water so you can consume the calories back. Add almonds to your diet, or chia seeds to just about ANYTHING....I was doing the same thing, cut back my water, added more calories and what do you know? I started losing again, and NOT muscles! =) But remember to consume GOOD calories back, not just crap to add up!
  • I weigh everyday also but NEVER let it get me down. We have good and bad days, it happens. And being a woman, we have like 14 good days a month so remember that it's JUST a number. The end product is what we are striving for. The inbetween is what it is. I've ran a 5k, did an hour worth of aerobics in a day, ate clean and…
  • Everything in moderation. If you have potatoes and bread for dinner 5 nights a week I can't imagine anything good coming of it. If you limit what you have and do it the healthiest way possible than there are benefits to a little of everything. =)
  • Children and anyone with or family history of should consume no more than 1300mg/day. An average adult with no issues or family issues is 2500/mg a day. Obviously, a recommendation, but probably a good one since sodium makes you retain water and it's not great for the heart. There are good and bad days, just hopefully a…
  • It can be done, but I agree with others. Set your goal a bit lower and accomplish that. If they are truly your friend they will support ANY weight loss you have had by then. The heavier you are, the more weight you have to lose and you don't look like you have 70 to lose but remember that no matter what you lose, it's…
  • I workout every day because that 'next day back' after a rest day is always so much harder otherwise. I tend to not have the motivation or desire to get at it again, so rather than a rest day, I just burn less and have a less 'stressful' workout and have my cheat meal that day also. =)
  • Just gotta do it! It doesn't matter if you finish last, it's the fact that you started and tried! =) And it WILL get better with time. If you don't try, how do you know? =) GOOD LUCK to you in July!!! And remember, you have roughly 12+ weeks between now and then to prepare that much more!!!
  • All I could do was try. Being passionate about my football and baseball, and of course being healthy. =) Just keep going. It's going to get harder and gotta work harder to burn but just think of what you've already accomplished! You've added YEARS to your life and that in itself is the best thing you could've done for…
  • INCREDIBLE JOB!!!! You've done awesome so far, keep going! It will be that much more worth it! Maybe lose the Squeelers stuff too! lol =)
  • What about just cutting a recipe in half or a quarter if you really want to try it?
  • I went back to the beginning of March. -- What are you consuming on the weekends???? If you are adding alcohol to your 'normal' diet than you aren't doing anything for yourself. - Looking at your M-F, I would guess a combo of everything. It appears you eat out once a day which can be done healthy but not on your diary.…
  • Kashi Go Lean!! High fiber, high protein and still sweet. Great with or without milk. =)
  • You are going to use carbs first, fat second, protein third. Unless you are eating steak after steak, you aren't going to get too much protein. Fiber and protein is what fills you up. If you are only consuming 400 calories though, your body is hanging onto what it has and is basically going into starvation mode. You need…
  • I drink between 12-16+ a day depending on my calorie burn. Usually at least 4 during a 60 minute workout alone. It's 0 calories, fills you up so you eat less crap. Yep, I do hit the bathroom a lot but I'd rather not gain weight. =) Also, if your urine is a very light yellow, no worries. It should NOT be dark, at all. If it…
