Same issue for me. I've had mine for less than a week. But not only is it not showing the correct name for the exercise it's barely giving me any credit (using the hrm with it). Are you having that issue as well? For a work out I normally would get about 150 calorie burn on my Polar HRM i'm getting literally just a few…

Because of the obsession I've had too with EVERYTHING & all those numbers I have decided to slowly transition into not counting. I had those exact same thoughts you had about being tired of feeling like I had to have this certain "control" all the time. I decided I've been doing this long enough now (almost 4 years of…

I had the exact same thing happen! I am in maintainance though and don't have any weight to lose but am still working on building strength & trying to get some definition. I completed it last week. I actually gained about 2 lbs, which isn't detrimental but I am NOT trying to gain weight. The only benefit I got was I am so…

Yes, I eat a vitatop almost every single day. If I don't then I have to take an iron pill to meet that 100% iron goal. It's like eating a multi-vitamin seriously, but not in the taste lol. If you get the right flavors they are delicious but some are not so good. My personal favorites are the dark chocolate pomegranate(so…

I am also planning on P90x3 next. I finished up Gamma last week and decided to just do Gamma phase all over again until P90x3 is available. I didn't know what else to do and I love T25 so much I thought I might as well just continue it in the meantime.

HI ladies yes I can not do the weighted supermans at all! Its nice to see I'm not the only one because I thought I was super weak. The lightest weights I have are 5 lbs but I can't even lift them off the ground doing superman aye aye aye. So yep been doing those without weights.

I am struggling lol. I am right behind you in Gamma. On week 2 day 2. Did Extreme Circuit this morning. I agree speed 3.0 is very very very very tough, but it gives me the highest calorie burn out of any of the T25 workouts. I actually almost hit 200 in the 25 minutes. For me that's a lot. I am loving all the strength work…

HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? 114 HOW TALL ARE YOU? 5'0 WHEN/HOW DO YOU WORKOUT? Currently doing T25 so 25 minutes 5 days a week; however I wear a fitbit (set everything to sedentary & then walk around enough during the day to earn more to eat more. =) ) ARE YOU MAINTAINING OR LOSING? Maintaining HOW MANY CALS DO YOU EAT?…

This is definitely a personal decision for sure. So for me personally, I can't picture myself being a SAHM. I like working for many reasons. I like having the structure & the extra income. Half of my pay goes towards daycare. I get paid twice a month & almost one full paycheck covers daycare so we still have extra money…

Sweet Potatoes!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have any issues with gluten (that I know of) though. I just thought of these because actually last night I had pre-prepared mashed sweet potatoes & on the cover it said gluten free. That's interesting that you didn't develop it until after having a baby. I guess pregnancy really does…

I do my cardio first thing in the morning 3 or 4 days a week (about 30 minutes) & my strength training on breaks at work twice a week (about 20 minutes) using resistance bands. I started doing the morning workouts during this last pregnancy and fell in love with it. Now don't get me wrong it is hard as hell getting up…

Hello! My name is Kerri and I'm a 33 year old mother of a 2 1/2 year old girl and 5 month old boy. I just recently got back to pre-pregnancy weight but would like to lose a few more pounds to reach my ultimate goal weight. I was 2 lbs away from it before getting pregnant this time & now about 3 to get there. So I guess…

Thanks for your input zephtalah. Congrats on your success with breastfeeding, that's very impressive! I have tried everything possible for months now: massaging, warm compress, lecithin, etc. I spoke with the lactation consultant again today about this. She did confirm that if I let the one dry up it should not affect the…

Very useful. I agree with what everyone else has said and all the reasons for having one. Completely worth getting one! There have been a few times when Kingston has come out of his swaddle and the blanket is completely covering his face because of his thrashing around. If I didn't have the monitor I wouldn't have known to…

We spank our daughter, under other "normal" circumstances But these tantrums or epidsodes we're talking about, or at least I am, are different. She can not be consoled, reasoned with, talked to, or anything. She gets spanked (a good bit) bc she is a fiesty testy stubborn little thing. But when she is having one of these…

Yes I have a similar situation. My 2 1/2 year old does something similar to this. She doesn't have the communication problem like your son but my daycare provider has mentioned before that she thinks some of it is her being frustrated about not being able to communicate sometimes. Actually we had an episode this morning…

DITTO to all of that!! If I was a stay at home mom and didn't have to pump then it would be a lot different. If I can make it to 6 months I will be thrilled!
-
Yes I either do that or if i weigh before I just subtract the amount I pump out afterwards. It's usually 4oz-8oz so that's 1/2 lb-1 lb difference!

We used it once very recently on our 4 month old when he had some mild congestion. We loved it! So much better than the bulb. The idea of it freaked me out at first but once I tried it it was fine & he didn't mind it at all. Highly recommend it!
-
Oh yes this is completely normal and very common. I had it with both of mine for the first 2 weeks or so. It was always worse when I was very sleep deprived. Even just going for a walk with baby in stroller helped to just get out of the house for awhile. And you are right it will not be like this forever! Mine is almost 4…

Yes it is very hard trying to find the time for exercise with young children. I have a 2 1/2 yr old & 3 1/2 month old. I have your dilemma too. I work full time & once kids are in bed i am too tired or have other things to tend to. So I have found the best way is to just do it first thing in the morning. For me that means…

I have 2 already and we MIGHT have a 3rd but no more. We knew from the beginning that we at least wanted a minimum of 2 but no more than 3. I had a horrible recovery (like jls8209) with the 1st, plus she was a horrible sleeper & nurser, so I couldn't even think about going through that again for at least a year. We waited…

Thanks for sharing your birth stories Jls & Beckyjill! Congrats to ALL the October/November mommies now!!!

Just thought this might be beneficial information for someone..........I asked while I was in the hospital if there was a certain amount of calories that they give to the post partum/lactating mothers. I wasn't really expecting an answer but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask & was pleasantly surprised with an actual answer.…

Thanks, yeah it was C-R-A-Z-Y in every way, but I loved it. =) I'm a very big wimp & was definitely planning on an epidural plus the iv pain meds (which is what I did last time) so that was the extreme opposite of what I had planned. So so so so sorry for your loss nicolenoel. =( You have an angel in heaven.

Oh my goodness finally having time to sit down for a minute to post my birth story. ... I went in to the hospital on 10/30 at 3:30 to check-in as scheduled for an induction. We waited over an hour in the waiting room because they weren't ready for us (they were super busy that day-lots of babies). Then I was taken to OB…

Today's update-40 wks 3 days-only dilated a fingertip. I have been having tons of cramping & low back pain plus pressure but that is still all that is happening. :( however I've been having brown discharge all day today. So still scheduled to go in tomorrow evening to start cervadil. At this point the induction is…

Thanks for bumping us jls. Looks like Faughorn had her baby too....congrats!! jls-That's great that your baby has dropped, always a good thing. =) Mine never did last time & I had to "labor down" during labor. That's what the nurse called it. I still haven't dropped this time (but you usually don't the 2nd pregnancy until…

That is awesome!!! So happy for you! Glad everything went well.
