Will this work for me if I still have fat to lose? I am 5'2" and 134 lbs. I would like to get to 125, maybe 120, but muscular and not skinny looking.

Like everyone else has said, lifting heavy just means what is heavy for you. I just started lifting heavy too and have felt like you. But, we all have to start somewhere and the good thing is that if we just keep with it, we will get stronger!! Good luck!

I did the fit test tonight and shew that in itself was a workout! I'm doing it with a group of friends so it will take more than 60 days to complete because it's hard to get together every single night to do it. I also lift weights in the mornings.

You can take glutamine. My soreness has been pretty bad because I have started lifting heavy. I have it in powdered form and add it to my protein shake after my workout.

Yes, it happed it me! I lost probably 20 pounds or so and then fell off the wagon for a few different reasons. I'm back and it sucks to have to lose it again! Fortunately, I didn't gain everything back so don't have as far to go this time.

I'm getting ready to start Insanity and it recommends 40/40/20 carb/protein/fat. So, I changed my macros to that and tried it today and can't get all of my calories in and stay under the fat. I like to include healthy fats in my diet. They keep you fuller longer than eating low fat! So, I'm changing my ratios back to…

Hi! I'm a 32 year old mom of two. A girl who is 11 and a boy who is turning 8 in a few weeks. I could use some more motivational friends who exercise! I have 10, maybe 15 pounds to lose.

I'm not seeing the problem! lol I need my booty to be rounder and have started doing squats, deadlifts, and lunges to do just that! Be glad your butt is not flat :)

You should also be sure to wet the strap before you put it on or it won't pick up your heart rate.

I don't wear mine as a watch because I think it is find of ugly. It stays on my dresser when not in use. :smile:
