Thanks everyone for your comments. I am weighing and logging painfully accurately. Aiming for 1,450 calories on a daily scale. I think the calories may be too low for the amount of exercise I am now doing and will be raising this with my trainer this week. I'm drinking 2-3 litres of water every day and doing everything…

I am 5'3 and want to get to 138.6 lb (9 stone 9 lb). I'm pretty diligent with accuracy/ logging but if it's going to take longer to get that last 7 lb off, then maybe I will take a longer term view- ie, see where I am in a month.

Thanks for your responses! Been stuck about 2.5 weeks so not that long at all in the grand scheme but long enough for me to get frustrated! I haven't recalculated the daily calories but will check in on this- if it helps, all the better!

Thanks guys- I am going to try pre-logging on weekends. Last weekend, I burned about 700 calories in the gym but then went out to dinner and thought 'Ah, feck it.' Logging afterward= SHAME SPIRAL! Onward and upward!

Isn't there supposed to be about 1000 calories in a doner? Not sure how though-perhaps its an urban myth! Chicken shish is definitely supposed to better- with pitta, salad and a tablespoon of ketchup, it's always preferable to a late night snack of carrot sticks...once in a blue moon though!

Dude, I totally feel your pain! I had my first weigh in last week, had been eating well and been to the gym 5 times and only lost 1lb!! Perhaps you have less to lose than others? So the weight may come off more slowly...I was disheartened at first and my first thought was to EAT...and I did BUT I also went to the gym twice…

Cheers guys, apologies for the Pity Party- just needed some motivation! And I was definitely eating my exercise calories so wasn't depriving myself of any nutrition...it's just the bloody tube in London- all these sick germs everywhere! Just going to focus on getting well and not using illness as an excuse to stuff my face!
