This is Matthew Gray-Gubler in his pajamas. And this is my sister and I with Robin Williams when we were 9 (in 1999).

All I'm saying is that boys being horny isn't the reason that girls should be dressed appropriately. What are the boys going to do? Tackle them in the hallway if they can see some cleavage? Come on now.
-
Yes, for some boys that's true. But why are the girls then responsible for how they dress because of that?

Please TALK TO AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST before doing anything in addition to or instead of taking your medication.
-
I would definitely have an appointment with an endocrinologist since you seem to still have a lot of questions. I've been on medication for hypothyroid for years now and it's the only thing that works. The only side effect I have ever experienced is that I seem to pee more often, and my sister (who also has hypothyroid)…

You can ABSOLUTELY eat after 7pm! Who told you that wasn't a good idea?

I was in college, he was a "local" but we both worked the same part-time job. He liked me right away but I turned him down a few times. Then once I graduated I went back to visit him and the rest is history. We've been together two years and two months, We've been living together a year. He's just the sweetest.

I thought the subject said no mix?

I am SO trying the smoothie idea! Thank you! :flowerforyou:   :drinker:

I can't really relate because I am starving by the time dinner's ready, but I will say that you are not "messing up your metabolism" by any stretch of the imagination. Metabolism damage takes weeks of not eating.

Simple Answer: If there was a magical solution, there would be no overweight people.

Do you weigh your food? For me, sometimes just the act of putting the food I want on the scale and thinking about how many calories that is, is enough for me to say, "No, I don't want this." It's the extra step to really think about what I'm doing instead of the mindless eating I was used to.

Hello! I'm not an MFP expert by any means, though I have been here a while and I lurk on the forums frequently. I would say you should consult your physician to see if a 1200 calorie diet is right for you. If you get the ok, then you should be fine. Just be sure that, as you mentioned, when you increase your activity level…

Ahem.... SURGERY is how it is spelled. SURGERY. SURGURY is not a word. Ok, carry on.

Feel free to add me. I recently started at 265 and now I'm down to 241! It's a good feeling to be under 250. My goal is 150, so I still have a long way to go.
-
Thanks VeryKatie! This explains a lot. I do not round up or down when I add a food to my journal, so I'm thinking I didn't record too many extra calories this way. Though it sounds like grams might be easier, so I might give it a try.
-
Thanks! I'm hoping this is the case.
-
Yeah, I don't see why either. Just hoping for some clarification.

Thanks Waltcote! I'm just seeing a lot of "noobs measure using ounces" type stuff around the forums, and I guess I am a noob because I don't get it.
