Thanks for this. I am in for 60. Restarting my running clock after a long time, so taking it slow.

Bump for reading later

Some super recipes here. Enough to last me for several breakfasts.

Another Indian vegetarian here (am okay with eggs though). You can add me. It would be fun to swap notes.

I use this too, also from Amazon, but in black. Pretty good so far and doesn't look or feel cheap. Mine is a S4 too.

Great advice for starters! Bump.

You can totally do without bananas.....any pulpy fruit does great as a substitut: kiwis, guavas, avocados, mangoes, papayas, you have any number of them, I love this one. Try this and you will absolutely love it, Papaya-1 cup chopped or mango 1 cup chopped or 3 large persimmons or 1 cup, a combination of all three…

You are so wrong,,,,it is as easy to lose weight on an Indian diet as it is on any other diet. I am from India and eat mostly Indian. The trick is to eat sensibly and educate yourself on nutrition.

You look amazing. What a difference a healthier lifestyle can make! And you have a great smile too. Congratulations!

Yes, absolutely, I do not need to lose weight either, just toning up. Am on Level 2 now and already delighted with the ab definition and the general toning. Have not lost much weight though, but definitely feeling smaller and tighter. Go for it. You will love it!

Some fabulous recipes here. BUMP!!

Whole Food's Organic Whey Protein. Contains stevia extract instead of artificial sweetners and is yummy. A little expensive but pays for itself in terms of health investment. Avoid those containing artificial sweeteners/aspartame.

I so hear you. But you know what really helps? Yoga and reduced salt intake. While the former takes care of the cramps, the latter reduces bloating. Take it from someone who has been there, done that.

Level 1, Day 5 here. Sore muscles until yesterday, but feeling way better today. I had an ankle mess up while doing the ellipticals last week, so couldn't do the lunges all the way, sidewise or oblique. Hoping this will get better tomorrow. I can sense my tummy getting firmer. Just need to kick *kitten* on those lunges and…

Am just starting too....Day 1 yesterday. Don't be apprehensive....it is great fun. Add me and let's do this together!:flowerforyou:

I love that line about going for a run. Very inspirational. And about singing at the top of your voice. Gotta try that one too!:explode:

He is right. The 90 degrees is the classic yoga 'chair' pose which really works out all the muscles involved, upper/lower belly, sides, thighs, calves. Going lower doesn't really help, except perhaps as cardio. I would say give both a trial and whichever works the largest group of muscles, go for it.

Am on Day 2, level 1 today. I got a little too ambitious and did it two times---TWO TIMES!!----both days, and huffed and puffed through it. Amazingly, it got better the second time every day. My thighs are sore today but am not giving up. Tomorrow, I plan on doing it just once, and combine it with some treadmill and/or…

Bump. Am trying to up my protein intake and some great tips here.

Am in the same situation you are in, though am not your age. I am 5' 4" and was 125 lbs when I started MFP end of Eebruary. I am already at my ideal weight, just want to tone up and get stronger. In the process, I do not mind dropping a couple of pounds, mostly some belly fat. You seem to be eating too less. I have already…

A healthy BMI is an awesome goal to reach. You are doing great!

Wow, you could make a full-blown KFC commercial out of this. Beautifully narrated. I could almost see the entire episode happening before my eyes. Well done!
