I will do that. I can be anywhere from 200-500 calories short though.

Does it average out your weight over time?

uconnwinsnc - LOL we Canadians can too but we have our Tim Hortens and are doing donuts not eating them ;) The snow outside of my living room windows reaches the window sill and goes almost directly across the lawn levelly. The snow bank beside my car is taller than me (I am 5'5 and it is approaching 6" or higher) and the…

How much snow are you getting? I am looking at the photos online and the pics there are showing the snow isn't even really staying on the ground. I assume that the wind is causing drifting?

I am curious about this as well. I need to get my wii fixed because I really want to use it for exercise!

BerryH thanks for the link. I have resistance bands here at home so maybe I will begin with those.

I weigh in every morning sans clothing. I use a tracker called True Weight that takes every weight in and averages it out over the course of a week or so to tell you what your true weight is.

I am not eating "health" food specifically. A friend on my account mentioned that I might be under estimating my intake so yes, weighing things is definitely going to happen. I find that weighing once a week is a problem for me. Specifically because I will choose that day to weigh and see a number that is considerably…

Someone once told me: lose weight fast, gain it back faster. You have done so well to lose the weight that you have so it IS working for you. I am not sure how long you have been working on a healthier lifestyle but it seems to me that you are doing well at it. I have been the person that ate really low calories simply…

Popcorn is awesome :) and by toppings I mean alternatives to butter. Spices, as some people have suggested.

Yummy thank you!

If I wanted to make to make these using the whole wheat flour and brown sugar does it change the cup amounts in the recipe?

Sorry I should have specified. Yes, a hysterectomy. Thanks :)

I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain issues so I understand where you are coming from. Yoga or tai chi are wonderful ways to get active and you can find videos on YouTube that will work for you. Start with a beginners level and modify the moves until you can do them fully. I was surprised how much yoga helped my pain -…

HI everyone :) I had my hysterectomy in March so I can offer some feedback. I gained about 25-30 lbs following the surgery. In part that was because I can't exercise the way that most people can and I had some complications during the procedure. I too lost everything but was able to keep one ovary. I think that for the…

Let's see now... World War Z (zombies) Dark Skies (aliens) The Heat (comedy) The Croods (animated) Iron Man (all of them) We're the MIllers (comedy) Despicable Me 1&2 (animated) Grown Ups 1&2 (comedy) Man of Steel (superman) Spiderman (all of them) The Conjuring (scary, not gory) The Others (scary, not gory) Frozen Ground…

I am REALLY looking forward to starting aquafit and my closest pool offers it in gentle, warm water, regular pool and deep water. I want to start on the regular and then maybe do the warm water pool when I am having bad pain days. I am hoping that it is fun and it works!

Thank you :) I try to avoid it because I am on a 1200 calorie diet and can't work out very much so doing it once a week or so might be better for me.

My issue was the opposite. I wasn't eating enough and when I did it wasn't the right things.

Funny, I think I have seen you post a couple of sarcastic comments like this one on other threads. The search didn't bring up what I wanted specifically (I didn't search the entire list though). Really though, if you have an issue with threads such as this, feel free to skip right on over them and meander off somewhere…

Yes. The title was a bit misleading. As I said I was thinking more of a cheat meal or a treat vs a whole day.

I would love to be friends. I sent you a request. I have chronic pain due to fibromyalgia and I have depression but that is generally taken care of medicinally.
-
Yes that's what I think I will do

My issue with logging my weight every day is that everyone sees it. I don't want to show the ups and downs that much. By logging my lowest weight I know that I am not weighing water weight, bloating or what have you. Maybe that's wrong? Like I said I haven't logged anything but once a week weigh in so far.
-
This sounds interesting. I will check it out. I am tempted to log my lowest weight every week for inspiration purposes lol
-
For those of you who weigh in daily how do you record your weight for MFP? Take the lowest weight of the week?
-
So my question is this: I am 41, 222 lbs, 5'5 and sedentary because of health issues. I am learning what type of workouts that I can do but because of physical limitations can only do a few different things - all of which burn around 160 calories. I am on a 1200 calorie diet and am eating back my calories - most of the…

Smoothies are so fantastic :) they can satisfy your sweet tooth, fill you up, give you an easy way to get in extra protein. I need to look up some more recipes myself.

I have been out dancing on occasion and doing the usual lifting and that type of thing but I haven't been working out. A friend of mine mentioned a possible hernia so I will see my doc to check into that ASAP.

I love smoothies. You can use any type of fruit that you want. I stick to peaches, pears, banana, pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, mango and blueberries. Because of the higher cost for fresh in the off season I just buy them frozen. For liquid you can use pineapple juice, apple juice, orange juice, water, milk, soy…
