How long did you stick to the switched numbers before changing again? It usually takes 2-4 weeks to see a result on the scale. Calculators give an estimate. It is then up to you and your results on the scale to adapt. Also, your body will not hold onto fat like that. It's physiologically not possible. What can happen is…

I have a Fitbit, and I know wearables are prone to some error, but most workouts average a 600cal burn, plus daily activity, it says 1200 calories for exercise. Even if that's 50% off, I'm not eating back exercise so that does put me at a deficit. Not a huge one granted, but enough I'd like to think I'd see that scale go…

Based on the IIFYM Tdee calculator, with my intensity and frequency of exercise, topped with the fact my toddler keeps me moving all day until I go to sleep, so I chose active. I have actually switched my calories around a few times. First it was 2000, then when I just maintained, I upped them with the assumption my body…

Thank you :) It's very exciting

Sautee some mushrooms, garlic, and thyme, mix with the squash, then top with fresh grated Parmesan

Feel free to add me! That goes for anyone :) I still have at least 115lbs to lose. I also have an open diary. I try to be active during the day on the news feed.

Most weight exercises that requires barbell can easily be switched to dumbbells so don't let that keep you from some of them. Also, here's a book everyone suggests to women new to lifting, New Rules of Lifting for Women. I recommend it.

Guess he could have avoided your smarty pants remark if he had used density and volume instead. People really just love to show their witticism ...

For months I was too heavy to wear my wedding ring. It was uncomfortable, tight and itchy, so I took it off. I now have to have it sized down :) it's not much but it makes me happy.

The water I add to my protein shakes, I log the 24oz of water I put into it. Then, because the powder has nutrional value, I log that in meals. I do that the same way for tea (log water used) and add the tea bag if it has nutrional value. I don't use drops or crystal light packets but I would do the same for it.

You're welcome to add me :) currently working towards losing about 180 total. I have an open diary and try to be as active as possible with my friends.

I tried to do the 6 meals but I couldn't keep 6 meals in the right caloric limit. So now I just eat when I'm hungry.

Coffee (not sure it should count as food but I need it to live  ) Greek yogurt Eggs Chicken (lean cuts) Kind Bars

Oh and for reasonably priced groceries, I always stock up on 10 for $10 frozen veggies and best possible greek yogurt at the time. Always find the best sale in either chicken cutlets/thighs/tenders/breast and incorporate those into my weekly meals. Find a good deal on fish, usually at Sprouts farmers market down in the…

I just made spinach feta stuffed chicken from cleaning out my fridge. 24 oz chicken breast cut into (6) 4oz portions 90g fresh spinach 2 oz feta 50g chopped red onion 4tbs light sour cream Spices Mix up the ingredients, spoon 1/4 cup onto cutlet (might have to flatten chicken with a mallet a bit), roll it. Dredge through 1…

Stonyfield organic greek yogurt. So delicious! Protein is pretty set around 12g, sugars vary from 12-17g I think. I love the caramel when I'm having a sweet tooth for something decadent. Pretty much any yogurt with "fruit" is going to have a decent amount of sugar. If you're really wanting to avoid that, get some plain and…

I like hair on a man's chest, the treasure trail, and I couldn't care less about the under bits. But I don't like it on the back or shoulders.

It's definitely your period. I always gain approx 4lbs during my TOM, so I avoid the scale like the plague. I will say your weight loss might be better served with you not restricting your calorie intake so much. I read into your profile and I'm afraid that could lead you back into the unhealthy lifestyle of weightloss. A…

I weigh in on Sunday mornings, before I eat or drink anything, but after the usual morning routine. Birthday suit. Same spot in the bathroom. I log that weight regardless then shove the scale off in the corner til the following Sunday.

It comes from all different places. I'm not sure it's my one thing that gives me motivation right now. One days it's because I met someone on here whose done what I thought was impossible for myself, so I get up and go. Another day it's because I want to be healthy for my husband and healthy enough to have a child, so I…

Well hey there handsome  So happy for you and your amazing accomplishment!

I know there is an option for strength training under the cardio section. Not sure why it's there. As for calories burned, I track using my HRM and it usually burns 1/3 of what I do during cardio. So like 3 cals for every minute round about.

My diary is wide open to friends :) I log the good, bag, and the ugly. I try to eat whole foods but really I eat whatever the heck I want. Feel free to add me! That goes for anyone.
