Once you are warmed up take 60-90 seconds rest between sets, It was recommended I use a stop watch or buy one of those gym timer gadgets. Personally I use this time to…

I'd second this recommendation, I have nearly finished this book and it's excellent.

Stir fry: Very cheap if you buy the veg separately and cut yourself (instead of buying those pre veg cut boxes). Make sure you have a few essentials like low salt soy source, sake, white wine vinegar, fish sauce, Sesame oil, Chinese five spice and veg stock cubes. Experiment with different flavours (tip, less is more) and…

I think your probably going to need some pretty boy/girl gym type to patronise/bully/taunt you whilst you spin for all your worth on an exercise bike, perhaps some dramatic music can accompany this to help shift those pounds. ;)

I think I need to add "War and Peace" to my list of the great unread. I think I will read Brave New World this year. BTW, the Book Thief - by Markus Zusak is an excellent book (well I though it was).

I still need to stretch my legs everyday but I'm sure you can find a way to make the best out of the situation. Again this is just my experience. My recovery…
