I have those dreams too! :) C25k is great. You can get apps for it, too. Good luck!

You're doing great! Some days are just plain hard. If you're having a hard day, I would suggest slowing down a bit. It really will make a difference. I finished week 9 last week- even though I met my goal, there are still some days where I just have to take it slower. I call those my shuffle days :)

I've been doing to c25k for about 8 weeks and am running about 10.5 min. miles. I'd like to run a 5k...but I'm curious how to make better time? Maybe that's an alright time for someone who's never run before :)

Congrats! It's such a great feeling. I start week 7 on monday. I love the program and the app for the iPod. You can listen to music while someone coaches you on when to run or walk. I can't believe I ran two miles in 20 minutes!

I like lots of veggies. I sautee onions, red pepper, sliced zucchini, broccoli, tomatoes and fresh garlic. I use two eggs and about 1/3 cup of cheese. Mmmm. One of my favorite, and most easy dinners.

Open- it makes me feel like I am accountable to my MFP friends. When I'm thinking about eating something crappy, I think "I'm gonna have to put this in my diary and they're going to see it..." usually makes me think twice about my choices.

1/2 cup of frozen blueberries with 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk- yum. Or a light rye Wasa brand cracker with 1 Tb. of Neufchâtel (lower fat cream cheese) and 1 Tb. apricot Simply Fruit jelly- my favorite. String cheese and a few grapes, too.

I get snacky at night, too. I try to eat a little more during the day so I don't feel as hungry towards the evening. If I do "have to" have a snack, I try to keep it healthy, ie frozen blueberries with some unsweetened almond milk. Best of luck to you :)

Way to go!!

It's great with a little bit of butter, fresh garlic and salt and pepper. Yum! I think I have one in the pantry I might need to go bake now :)

Bump. Wondering if you could steam it instead??

You look great!! You have a beautiful smile. Keep up the awesome job!

Yeahhhh..... I did 30ds before I'd lost any weight and was on level one for a few months. As long as you are getting a good workout- getting your heart rate up, sweating, etc, I wouldn't worry about being on level one. The thing that counts is that you're working out! Keep it up- it will eventually get easier :)

You look great- younger and more confident! Way to go!!

Welcome to MFP! I love it. I am a stay home mum of 2. I've lost 55 lbs. over the last year. I cut out flour and sugar (I do have it in moderation now). I also walk 5-7 days per week for at least an hour per day. I think logging everything you eat and exercising are the keys to a healthy weight loss. Best of luck to you :)

Way to go! I cut out sugary coffee a while ago (I still get plain lattes about once a week and add a teaspoon of honey to sweeten), but man, those sweet coffee drinks were the hardest habit to break. Good for you!
