  • Thanks everyone. Have added ya'll to the list. lets keep it going
  • Welcome birchtremn, After the first week I lost 8lbs and am in second for my gym. Seem to be struggling a little more this week though. How did ya'll do? My name is footballump on the leaderboard to keep an eye on me and keep me accountable.
  • Weight in today. 276. Here we go. Want to get to 230ish Good luck KW
  • I am doing the one starting this weekend. Have you found a group on here doing the same yet?
  • I would like to get in on this. Looks like a nice group to keep each other going. SW = 275 GW = 265 Personal goal is to get off soda. Get in at least 3 sessions of at least an hour workouts each week. Good luck to everyone
  • I use Mapmytri. Please anyone using mapmyrun, mapmycycle, or any of the mapmyfitness apps. Please friend me on the app. I could use the motivation and love seeing where everyone is running all over the planet. My user name is the same as on here.
  • Welcome, Im sure we can help you reach your goals.
  • The first day I started C25K I barely made it. Couldn't do 1 min without wanting to quit. Today only 2 months later I ran 10K. I still go very slow, took about 70min but I did something I never thought I could. Just takes one day saying I am going to stop wishing and start doing.
  • The C25K program was one of the best things I ever started on May 1 2011. I wish I could post pics but don't know how. You can look at the profile and see some though. I was so afraid to run because I knew I would have to walk so much that people may laugh. My first 2 weeks I did the treadmill because at least that way I…
  • Im always down with some good motivation buddies. Add me.
  • Know what you mean. I am on a goal to lose 100 myself. Over half way there now. I am a high school and college football and lacrosse official. The kids get faster and I get slower. I did start running now that I have lost some weight too and that has helped a lot. Good luck on your journey.
  • I have had a lot of success on this site due to the constant encouragement of my friends. I feel motivation is the key. Add me if you like. I find eating a good breakfast is the start to having a good day with the food. If I am hungry all day I won't eat right.
  • Good luck, I remember when I said enough was enough. Great feeling. We are all here for you.
  • All of what was said was good advice. You need to eat way more then you are now. Feed the muscles and they will burn calories like crazy. Also, don't weigh in so much. You body fluctuates all the time due to lots of things. Mostly how much water you are holding. High salty foods will make you old upto 10 extra pounds of…
  • It gets easier. First time I did it I almost died. Dropped some weight and those jumps were not so hard any more. As for the Yoga. I hate it but can see the benifits.

  • 1 cup of Egg whites 2 links of Turkey Sausage 2 cups of Skim Milk Eat this almost every morning. Takes about 5 minutes to put together and great source of protein to start my day off. I used to eat the FiberPlus bars that you did but made me gassy.
  • Did a short 2 mile run this morning. Just glad to contribute. Happy Running everyone.
  • On week 5 now. It has been a great program so far. You guys have fun
  • Alright, thanks for all the advice. Today I slowed down the pace a lot. Or it felt like a lot. Really didn't run too much less on distance as I thought I would. The slow pace did make it easier. Heart rate felt good except on a few hills but I understand that. Felt like I was really holding back but at the end I felt like…
  • Protein is great for getting the muscles repaired but you need your carbs for energy. Try carbing up one day and see how you feel.
  • I think that anyone who has or will have a tatoo should want to put it on the best canvas possible. I have a half sleeve, front quarter panel. Looking to cover one on my back with a large piece when I hit my goal. Always looking for motivated friends so I will send you a request as long as you post your tats when they get…
  • I find the edgier the music the more I get pumped up durning my workout. However sometimes when I need a good push and something to get me in a good mood a little old school sublime helps alot.
  • I have always been happy with anythin Polaris.
  • You sound like someone that could give me great advice and encouragement. Welcome to MFP. It is very supportive and fun community.
  • Greg - I wish you all the best of luck. This is a great community to keep you going as long as you keep on going. The key is one day at a time. When you have those bad days just get on here and read the success stories. That always helps me. Im always amazed when I watch the Biggest Loser and see guys lose the weight you…

  • I love riding my Harley too but I wouldn't log it. You are always burning calories and your activity level you selected on here takes that into account. So unless you are riding extra hard or motorcross I wouldn't log anything you don't need to. Might give you a sense of feeling you can eat more even though MFP already…
  • We will all be here for you. Just stay active and try your best everyday. That is half the battle.

  • We will be here for you. Good luck
  • Thats a great story. I sweat my *kitten* off too in spin class. I even bring in 4 towels to clean up my mess. The biggest difference is when you are riding on the road you find times to take breaks from pedaling when in class you are constant. However when you are on the road and you come to a hill you cant just turn the…
  • I love it. Not only does it work great but it taste good too.
