I am interested in getting a Heart Rate Monitor for when I am working out. Does anyone know the best brand to get? Or the best kind of monitor to get?... :flowerforyou:

I have a polar model that I am very happy with. I don't have the model # with me but I got it at REI (it is a dark pink color). In addition to your heart rate, It tells you how many calories you've burned and has a coaching program that sets up how many exercise sessions you should have each week, how many calories you need to burn (based on your goals), and at what intensity.

I'd recommend a Polar model as well. I've had mine for over a year love the motivation it provides. It's really fun to see that you burned 3000+ calories at the end of a long hike. ;)

It was so easy to set up and use.... It's well worth the money I spent on it!
