Bavette, so much tastier than fillet, and much better value.

I usually go to Aldi for meat, much cheaper than Sainsburys, and never had a bad experience. Blue Stilton half the price. But, some of the veg doesn't last very long. I won't buy peppers or broccoli there, and I have had trouble with cherry tomaytoes going "hairy". Chorizo is good, and cheap. Lidl's greek yoghurt tastes…

Iput a stone on this winter through buying Paul Hollywood's How to bake book, and eating bread and the delectable lemon drizzle cake. I've got rid of that stone now, and the book disappeared when we moved! :-)

Hi everyone! I am 63, retired and am due to have a hip replacement sometime before Christmas. I started 5:2 about 3 weeks ago,but have lost a stone over the past two and a half months. I must say , that fasting 2 days is very sustainable, and has doubled my losses to 2lb a week . I try to get a good walk in every day,…

Still going strong! That was my 10th day in a row. I can't say that I missed it over the weekend , but I'm sure the weekend had more hours in it!

Hi Girls! Sorry I've been away so long, but part of the problem is that Senior Sneakers no longer shows up on the Fitness board.I don't know if it's a glitch or a UK thing, tho I can't imagine it is. I've searched back for pages and not found it. I nearly messaged Buzz to see if it had been moved and only found it again by…

Good luck! I have just had my first alcohol free week since I don't know when, and last night I slept for 8 hours, which is a record for me! I'll try and do the whole month with you.

I generally get about 6 hours (since I hit the meno.) Apparently all the real benefits take place in the first 4 hours so I've stopped worrying.

Hi girls! Just taking a break from re-potting and planting out in the garden. How the time flies when you're doing something you enjoy! Not much in the way of sun here, but the wind is warm and the washing out! Our lawnmower won't start, so I suggested to OH he should cut down the shrubs which turned their toes up in our…

Stick with it! You'll soon notice that you'll feel so much better, and things will slow down.

Afternoon Sneakers! It's been a beautiful day here, sun very warm when it peaked out from behind the clouds, and after ,,the Library van, shopping, making a spicy chickpea and potato thing for lunch, I've spent the past couple of hours re-potting tomatoes and cucumbers and hauling them to the other end of the garden.…

Morning girls! I haven't been around much lately. Busy planting up my troughs and pots with bedding plants, planting out more lettuce and pak choi. Sowing more veg. I've actually got to grips with successional sowing! Still desperate for rain, having to water everything. But it's all exercise! I shall pray for Katy, so…
