  • As I calculated my TDEE I don't eat back my training. I just mark down 500 calories under a custom crossfit type as I know that is a fair minimum. I do track my excercises in the notes though.
  • All the hotels on the strip are 5 star so should have a gym. The place is massive so unless you use the cabs or monorail you will burn stuff walking, we were walking round the casino malls until 3am!
  • I do workout my whole body, leg days/back days etc. I was just wanting to try and get across I didn't want to grow my whole body like a body builder would "bulk up". I'd read about it taking a while it was more just the "eating" part I wasn't sure about.
  • Have you tried making shakes either with casein whey or just yoghurt & wholegrain peanut butter. They are quick and boost your protein that takes longer to digest
  • I'd say I was really fit before I started and found it tough. My biggest challenge is the Yoga workouts. Just keep pushing. Also try mixing things up for fun too. I went Kayaking yesterday for 2 hours that was a killed core workout but didn't feel like it and tried various classes with my wife. If you like your food look…
  • wrong window...
  • I lost 6kg but plateaued until I started adding weights a few days a week to it. Just about to start insanity asylum 2 tomorrow along with weight routine.
  • Don't count calories, make calories count - Dolce Diet. Find you can eat clean without skimping on the food.
  • I do a P90X/Insanity hybrid so work out 5 days a week 45mins - 1 hour My wife does Chalene Extreme/Turbofire Hybrid and works out 25 - 55mins 4 - 5 days a week. We both walk 7km to work at a decent pace and back 4-5 times a week. My multiplier on scooby calculator was 20% working out sedentary (we work office jobs) but…
  • Don't laugh but Queen - Don't Stop Me Now. I think it would bring some joy to the sadness.
  • My PT suggested it but it makes sense go high on carbs on cardio day, protein weight day and down to your net on rest days.
  • pinterest.com search for clean eating and there are LOADS
  • It doesn't look that exciting over the last couple of days and looks really low at 1200 calories. If you are exercising as well I'd search the forum for the roadmap on info on setting your calories with your excercise goals and setting that as your limit instead of net. Then you don't need to work out eating calories back…
  • I did a lot of research on the shakeology after trying herablife and both don't get massive reviews on anything extra from normal protein powders plus some fruit or a multi vitamin. Personally I hate the way they ram Shakeology down your through, particulary from coaches and on P90X. Instead fo a meal replacement shake in…
  • Well I liked the simplicity
  • I'm waiting to follow fit2fat2fit's new routine on fit2mass that will be starting on 8th april. Going to see what he advises and follow his reporting for a while before starting though.
  • I've done a class for charity and my wife has done it a couple of times. I didn't feel it got my heart rate up to do any decent burn and my wife doesn't rate at all compared to other classes like body pump, body attack etc.
  • I have dropped 7kg and maintained my lifestyle working out at home. I moved from UK to Spain and work longer days. I have more space and gym opening hours are weird here. I read the Dolce Diet Living Lean and started following clean eating. I got a copy of Insanity on ebay and that with better eating triggered the weight…
  • I got stuck when I joined and it confused me. What I did was read the post about using a road map, search the forum it is well commented on. I stopped having a net and then eating back calories as it was too hard to judge. I used this well recommended calculator to work out my daily calorie intake and set my MFP calorie…
  • I bought my wife chalene extreme as our former PT told her to get back on the weights. I have done insanity and some TF with my wife and I think it is more fun and higher burn that the stuff on P90x so I'd definately do the hybrid. You do need a chin up bar or resistance bands with an overhead anchor for P90x, I use the…
  • I got married a year and half ago, I've only lost 6kg but my knuckle is ony keeping my ring on.
  • I love insanity but if you have any back problems I would recommend looking online for the low impact alternatives to some of the high impact/jumping moves. I hurt my back and was off it for a while until my Chiropractor gave me the all clear. Back doing it but with low impact and still getting the burn.
  • Age: 29 (30 in May) Height: 166cm Current Weight: 156lb / 71kg Current BF: 15.9% Goal: 147lb/ 67kg Goal BF: 12%ish Workouts: P90x/Insanity Hybrid Twins add me
  • My wife and I have Nutrisport MRP 60Protein/30carbs with a banana, frozen fruit and soya milk every morning for breakfast or our meal 2 as we have early and long commute. Then have a promax isolate after a workout, within half an hour. I'm no expert but if you wanted to try them I'd get a protein isolate (maximuscle promax…
  • I think you might be right on the 40%/30%/30% i tried a couple of different TDEE calculators and they said my basic (before taking off the 20% calorie reduction) should be between 2000 and 3000 calories... weird
  • Problem is I work in Gibraltar. Not sure how big the jar is but that wasn't bad, Holland and Barratt wanted £15 for same jar
  • at £8 a jar I wouldn't be rubbing it on my face.
  • I recommend you look at Dailyhiit.com. Its free and for all levels and good instruction and the aim is to do 12 mins a day plus warm up/cooldown. I mix there classes into my beachbody workout when I have exta time: http://www.dailyhiit.com/.
  • I have my goals set to 40% Protein/ 40% Carbs / 20% Fat but all my fats are coming from nuts, avacado, eggs, meat, fish and peanut butter and oils (coconut, grapeseed, canola or extra virgin dressing) Overall goal is to get definition and a few centimetres on my arms. I've been eating clean for over a year as well as…
  • Also, yes I'm always under on my protein but always seem to never have enough cals/carbs or fat left to have foods to get protein up unless I go over or just have Whey Isolate shakes.
