  • I just got engaged and I've pack on some pounds the past couple years - trying to loose about 30 pounds for a may 2017 wedding so I'm in!!
  • Mine opens to my friends, so feel free to add me!
  • I have a fitbit and I love it. Tracks my steps and tells me how many "extra" calories I burnt. It links to MFP too, so you dont have to log twice. Definitively more motivating and easier to know what your true calorie needs/deficit is! It is $100 though, but I think very worth the extra cost!
  • Well lets hope I do better on this challenge! I`ll be gone for 3 weeks in February, dont delete me!;)
  • I would ask to be checked for PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). BCP are often a prescribed drug for this, so maybe you had it and going off it you started showing symptoms - google it up but the irregular period, weight gain and difficulty loosin, insulin resistance (leading to putting on weight in the abdominal region)…
  • Yeah I cancelled my flight to DC tonight... was gonna go from Saturday-Tuesday, but the airline made it pretty grim on chances of my return flight making it back, and I can't afford an "extended vacation" lol. At least I got a voucher.... lets try again next month, when hurricane season is OVER!
  • Yep I was! I was 160-170 pounds from age 11 (fully grown) til 22. After I moved away from all family and started work I lost 50 pounds in 6 months. I've slowly put back 40 pounds since diagnosed with hypothyroid a few years ago and trying to fight it off. Sigh.
  • On the other side of things... I gained 25 pounds in the past year (from 150 to 175, so its noticeable all right!) and went to visit friends I hadnt seen in a year this summer - they thought I looked just the same. Some people have trouble noticing those things, its hard when you don't have a side-by-side picture to show…
  • How many calories are you guys set at? I have eaten a net of 1600 calories the first week and gained almost 2 pounds, now I dropped to 1400 calories and lost 0.8 pounds but not even back to the weight from 2 weeks ago! Ive worked out hard almost everyday and havent exceeded my weekly goal....
  • Gaining weight so easily and not being able to get it off. Intermittent depression and mood swings - now when I feel good and motivated, I'm scared cause I know the "down" is surely coming any day now. Being too tired to do much more than work, watch tv and sleep. I mean, getting laundry done sometimes seems like hiking…
  • Well I certainly hope this is some water weight or something... I havent exceeded my calories all week and Ive conservatively logged bikram yoga at 300 calories, and its probably way more. gained 1.5 pounds... WTF? So discouraging :(
  • 32, feel free to add me!
  • Im in! Let hope the accountability helps where my control has not!
  • Don't be his second choice. If he wants to be with you, he should have the decency to tell the other woman. If he doesn't - what tells you he won't do the same thing to you later on? Guys who find a "replacement" before leaving someone are not worth a woman who respects herself"s time. You are worth having saturdays and…
  • When I was thinner, I kept being told I looked like Helen Hunt. I guess I"ll have reached my goal once people start telling me that again:)
  • The actual hour of the day doesn`t matter... but most wouldn`t recommend eating within 3 hours of bedtime, or restricting it to a small snack. Just so you don`t eat a big meal then go to sleep - it messes some with your metabolism. That being said some people can eat whenever as long as not over their daily calorie goal,…

  • Just came accross this post before going into work after a looong work weekend... as a veterinarian in an emergency/referral center! Its nice to see people who want to do what's best for their pet and understand the costs associated. It is sadly not to case for everyone and while I would love to save all those pets for…
  • EAS Myoplex has a bunch of varieties with different calorie/carb levels... and they are pretty yummy. Ditto for their protein shakes!
  • Wow... you all make my worst moment look pretty tame... My dad, after not seeing me for about 8 months, mentioned withint 10 minutes of seeing me that I must have been eating quite a bit recently.
