Celery. Rice, cheese and veg salad. Ryvita. Apples.

I'm 34. I aim for 1450 a day if I'm not exercising. Between 1800-2200 if I exercise.

You could always swap the bread for rice and have a sort of rice salad instead. So if you have a cheese salad sandwich have the cheese and salad in a pile of rice instead. Or if you;ve got leftovers from the previous night's dinner eat that. Friends at work often eat avocado on ryvita.

When I was pregnant I gained about 8lbs in the first trimester but gained more slowly in the secodn and third trimesters. My advice is to eat healthily and eat when you're hungry and you'll be fine. Your body knows what it so don't fret too much about how many lbs you've put on, just make sure you eat well and don't snack…

You need to eat a minimum of 1200 calories a day to satisfy your basic nutrition requirements. Then eat back your exercise calories if you want to/fancy it.

I'd suggest going to see a doctor and telling him/her what you've just told us.

When i was overly tired and concerned about my iron levels I started takign iron tablets. within 2 days I felt better. TRy some, if they perk you up, you need more iron. if you can't get it in your diet, keep taking the tablets.

I need to lose weight to get ready for a second baby.
-
I think you should go to your doctors and tell them how you feel about food.

Yes I understand that. What I want to know is what is the generally accepted guidance for everyone. When I google it I get portion sizes given in terms of size of potato. I don't want that, I want an actual weight.

Porridge. 28grams oats. 14grams raisins/sultanas 1 tablespoon honey or jam 200ml of semi skimmed goats milk (could also use cows milk) That comes to 302 calories. So to cut back 2 calories use less honey or less milk. I tend to microwave the oats and milk for 3 minutes then add the honey/jam and fruit afterwards.

Good luck Amanda! I'm sure you can do it :)

Cheesecake once a week??!! Man, I eat cake every day if I want.. I just adjust my other foods so I still hit my target calorie intake.

Ugh they sound like horrible people. if your;e sweating it means you're working hard. i'd wonder why they aren't sweating so much. if i'm inc lass I'm busy trying to work out to pay attention to anyone else.. perhaps they should try that..

Really? Well my walk to and from work is 24 minutes each way, and then I cycle into town in Saturdays to get the food shop, and I go running 3 times a week. Nice to know i'm doing more than needed!

Oh! Well have fun. I'm crap at going uphill.

I think you're overthinking it. If you use a heart rate monitor you will get an accurate calorie burn. Possibly apps like endomondo (sp?) will work just as well too.

I workout the same amount, yes. If you don't want to lose anymore weight eat more food.
-
I would like to second this.

Snack on fruit. Buy a bag of apples and when you get peckish eat them. That's how I get over food cravings, especially cravings for sweet things. Grapes are also good for that. Or an entire box of frozen mango.... man I'm hungry now! But seriously, snacking on fruit and veg, even if your snack ends up being enough for a…

What do you all mean by splits?

I was spot on too. I don't believe women can have too much confidence when it comes to out bodies, especially not when it means that we have a realistic body image. Feel proud of yourself.

Do I need to eat more protein?
-
So what do I need to do once I've found out my body fat percentage? What do I need to do in the kitchen?
-
9 and a half stone is my target and I'm at it. I'm 5 ft 3. I'm built pretty small but I have wide hips and a large chest and if I lost another half stone or more I'd disappear.

That's really wonderful! Never be ashamed of your body, it's yours and it's carried through life :) I wish I could swim for an hour each day!

All foods are OK to eat. Bad foods and good foods don't exist except in our brains. If you're worried about overdoing the claories, just balance the ice cream out with other lower cal food or do more exercise.
-
Ohhh! I didn;t realise moderate was about what how I felt and my heart rate. Thanks!

Or just eat their good and do lots of exercise every day.
