I joined the challenge to change up my routine- doing the unexpected because we never know what task The Don will put before us. I also wanted to meet others who are in various phases of their journey and learn from each other. 50 crunches completed!

3 miles walked/ jogged today I am feeling yesterday's challenge :sad:

9th was my first day so 150 lunges completed. 10th 2 miles walked/jogged and healthy meal for family reported 11th 150 diamond push ups done over several sessions today

Walked/jogged 2 miles. Family supper is as follows: Grilled pork chops , brown rice, peas, side salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber) with reduced fat Ranch. Old version fried pork chops with white rice and gravy, peas and dinner rolls baked with butter.

I bet your weight would not stay the same if you ate crap and sat around. Diet and exercise are not just to make the scale move. Don't give up- when the scale does start to go down you will be happy you stuck with it!

I am a big Jillian fan but she is not for everybody. If you love Zumba- do that. You gotta find what works for YOU! The only way I can stick to something is if I love it. I just started last phase of JM body revolution and love the challenge so stick to what you enjoy. (Shake it girl!)

Doing Jillian Micheals Body Revolution- I think "She is trying to kill me!" When I walk I usually just kinda work out any stress I may be feeling and try to come up with creative solutions.

Burned calories are burned calories. That is an active day. I skip my work outs on Saturday sometimes when I am out clearing brush or working outside. I have a bodymedia core and I log in more calories burned working outside than I do during my workouts. So it really depends on if you have the energy for a good workout. (…

As hard as it may be, be the example. Maybe your parents will see the positive changes and want to get on board. But if not, you have to take care of you. You deserve to be healthy.

Jillian also does not recommend strawberries unless they are organic because of the pesticides. She recommends thick skinned fruits if not organic. (From her pod casts)

I am doing my own eating plan and not hers. Sticking to the 1200cal though.

I have just started phase 2. I love it! It really kicks my butt. I lost 13 inches in phase 1 and 13.5 lbs. Go to community and and look up Jillian Micheals Body Revolution 2013. It is a great group and everyone is at different phases so if just starting thats OK.

WO 6 done yesterday and my arms and back are so sore. I really pushed myself and probably should not have gone as heavy on some of the weights. I think I am as sore as I was on week one is not more! LOL Looking forward to improving and seeing what kind of results next 2 weeks bring! (Don't care for the "windshield wipers"…
