I always eat before I go to games. Stuff some mixed nuts in your purse to snack on during the game, that way you don't feel deprived when everyone around you is eating.

Thanks for the info. I read the articles some of you posted and it was helpful in knowing how the show works. They still do major burning and put a lot of effort into thier workouts. If only we all had the time to do nothing but commit fully to our workouts and nutrition, we'd all be fit and happy in a few short months.

But what's crazy is one of the women weighed in last at 150ish lbs and lost 15 lbs that week, dropping her down 130ish lbs. Amazing!

I sub at the High School and I know all the girls that play sports (basketball, softball and even cheerleaders) are required to have lifting days at the gym as part of their training. They start letting kids (girls and boys) lift during the summer when they hit 6th-7th grade. Coaches are there to keep an eye on them and…

Yeah! What's your secret?

Been to a hospital, had a shot, or any type of medicine. (I was born at home.)

We all have to do our best to do the right things and make the right decisions. The last perfect man, we humans nailed to a tree. Not since then have any of us had the right to judge one another. [/quote] I agree!
-
I was just being sarcastic about the first quote. I do believe you have to repent in order to move on too :)
-
Oh and for those of you that don't go by the Bible, then carry on.. nothing pertains to you. Be Happy!
-
I don't want to judge others on how they live their life, it's up to them and God be thier judge. God knows I'm not perfect. But to those of you that are on here relating to the Bible you need to get it out once in awhile and read it before you try to make sense of it. First off, many people did have mulitple partners...in…

bump... great job everyone!

I feel a lot of people have had those same struggles (food, depression, life) at least once in their life, but you are doing an amazing job. WOW 250 lbs is incredible! You ARE NOT a failure. Hang in there girl!

I'm 5'11" and my goal is 160. After having my first 2 kids I got down to 156 and I was in the best shape of my life, working out about 8-10 hrs a week. I wore a size 10 jean and a medium shirt. Everyone said I looked really good and wanted to know what I was doing; which was basically working out (kickboxing, weight…

No complaining here (except that 2nd button from the top that doesn't stay closed and comes undone all the time and everyone gets a little pick-a-boo shot). Have to say, I don't wear that shirt anymore without a tank on. Anyway, 36C( not too big, not too small) here and my husband says they are my best asset and I can't…

Week one of Turbo Fire for me and I love it. I'm starting on the regular class schedule. I'm getting the hang of it, out of breath sometimes, but feel the energy to keep going. Did any of you start with the prep schedule or did you just jump right in doing the regular class schedule, jw? I did P90X last spring and lost a…

5'11" here and glad to know that others my height have similar goals. When I weighed 154 I looked great and was in the best shape of my life. Starting over and need to lose about 50-60 lbs. Would love to have other tall friends on here. Add me please.

Born and raised in Oklahome. Live in Okeene,Ok now....getting ready for our annual Rattlesnake Hunt this weekend. Anyone coming?
-
My 15th wedding anniversary is June 29th so I was already aiming to lose 20 lbs myself, so count me in.
-
Thanks for all your advice. I decided to order both Chalene Extreme and Turbo Fire and maybe do a hybrid of the two. I already have a heart rate monitor, love it. Can't wait till it comes in this week.
-
What about mixing up the cardio workouts from P90X with Chalene Extreme? Would that work, or would the workouts be too long?
-
Ok I'll look into the hybrid. I lost over 18 inches and 10 lbs doing P90X and definetely gained some strength, so I don't want to lose the muscle I've built, but I do want to lose more weight in my thigh and stomach areas and get more defined arms and abs. Anyone else with an opinion? I haven't ordered yet.
-
Plan to watch it while I eat a healthy lunch. Thanks for sharing:)
-
I'm going to order Chalene Extreme in a few weeks. Add me as a friend if you want to share results as we do it together.
-
I agree with the P90X plan, it works and will get you ripped. Good luck and congrats on your weight loss.

Hummm, which ones? Probably Shoulders & Arms, Core, and Legs and Back. Here's my take on YogaX. I hate starting it, love when it's over and feel awesome afterwards. Always glad I did it. Plyo... hate starting it, glad when it's over and feel like I burned off some goop afterwards. Happy I only have to do it once a week.…

My sister is a Zumba instructor. I wore my HRM to her class and she wore hers. We are different in height and weight but we both burned between 625-650 calories in 1 hour. FYI, you can make your own exercise datalog by clicking on the bottom of the page to make your own, if it's not in the database. I do this with my P90X…

I weighed this morning, as I do every Thursday and the scales didn't budge from last week. I increased my workouts from 6 to 8 this week and more intensity with weights. I've been sore everyday so after reading your post I feel much better. It makes more sense that maybe it does have somthing to do with water retention…

@ Jeff Rodgers, I auctually just started this week running. I've never been a runner before and thought I'd try to do a 5K May 1st. Guess I over did my first week. Ran 3 miles on Monday and 2 miles today. Got a suggestion for starters ( how much to run a day/week). Would like to build up to do a 10K or more later. I guess…

And thanks for the ice advice, will apply as soon as I get home from the office. Got a lot of great advice that I will adhere too and I'll take it easier from here on out.
