Welcome! I just joined yesterday..Don't you feel like everyone knows each other on here? I feel like a stranger trying to fit in haha! I'm a mom of 6 and have been trying to get in shape for the past 8 years! It's been a roller coaster!

I dislike the elliptical because I feel it's hard on my knees..I'm tall with long legs so maybe that's why...I like the treadmill way better!

I found that for me I could eat 1200 to 1500 a day and still lose weight every week and that's with working out everyday.

Setting small goals is smart..that way you Don't get discouraged. I found that consistency is the key to losing weight!

Hi I'm Tara and new on here too and I'm also 5'10"! I'm 34 and just can't seem to quit yo-yo dieting!!! I figure I'm getting older and need to commit already to more healthy ways...so I thought this would help.
