Got a Karen Millen dress in sight ;)

I try to quell my chocolate thirst by allowing me a protein bar with chocolate coating "now and again" ;) Also, melted dark chocolate and drizzle it over fruit works wonders. Added you :) And others feel free to add me too :)

I buy these 70% cocoa chocolate in little squares packs that each are about 30 grams. Melt that in a cup in the microwave, drizzle over favorite fruit/berries. The chocolate taste last so much longer that way, and the sweetness of the fruit tend to cancel out some of the bitterness of that high % chocolate. And it makes…

How antiquated.

I can understand the mentality of restricting after binging to try to do damage control - but in the long term it just leads to more of a rollercoaster of food intake. I have set my calorie restriction to 1400 (which is pretty close to my TDEE - 20%, as according to this calculator:…

I edited my post, was hoping I could sneak in an edit before you read it but I guess no such luck. More info, tips there :)

Well the title is misleading; 1200 worked well for you up until you started binging. The binges are really where it all goes to pieces for you. Is it always the same two days? Is it something happening then? Is it the weekend? Try making plans for those days that will restrict your ability to binge. Typically sit around…

Sending you a request! :)

So sorry to hear about your troubles. I've had my gallbladder removed at the ripe young age of 23 since it was inflamed, but like you I couldn't remove it right away since I had my appendix removed (they thought the gallbladderproblem was in fact the appendix going to burst and went in surgery with haste). Both pre- and…

Not diabetic, but my mom is type 1 so I've had it close to me my whole life (and a watchful eye in case I get it too) - sent you a request!

Very similar stats and goals as me. Sent you a friend request :) And if there's anyone else who needs a active short friend just pop me a request! Unfortunately Ive seen a lot of my friends list drop out from inactivity :/

5'3 and I eat 1200, but I also walk/hike a lot and eat back most my calories. A couple of years ago I went on a diet of 800 kcal a day and lost a lot of weight very, very quickly but gained it all back again. I think keeping a proper diet and exercising is much better for the long run.

When its just me at home I usually cook up soups to last a few days. Because cooking for one isn't that much fun. Vegetable soup base with Chorizo and Tortellini: Tomato soup with Olive & Parmesan buns, and baked garlic: And just a light lunch: But when people come over for dinner... BEEF:

Been little PC-gaming for me this summer (Its been boardgames and physical activities for me! Yay!) But now that its getting rainy Im thinking of going back to Fallout NV, thought I'd try out some of the mods :) I did try out a few indies in the beginning of the summer though. Really recommend The Swapper if any of you…

I think the key word here is "maybe". Point was, we don't know anyone's story so there's no need to hate on anyone. People at the gym need to just appreciate that others are there to be healthy and happy, just as them, no matter what they look or act like.

Emotional binging can be a symtom of low serotine levels. If you feel depressed on top of it all and handle stress badly (also a symptom) then perhaps it is time to go see a doctor about it? Good luck to you

This is why I've decided on creating a home gym. As much motivation it can be going to a proper one and meeting people, it could be devastatingly dismotivating as well..

I do cardio and strength! I have two goals; losing weight (esthetics) and gaining muscle to support my joints, as I have rheumatism (health!) For people with joint problems, lean muscle mass is worth its weight in gold.

Added you! Let the good times roll!

Curious: can I ask in what situation?

Sounds like your sister have a attitude-problem. Just let her know that its not appreciated. That you've worked hard and that you expect her, who love you, to respect you even if she doesn't understand it.

I had to google it myself, apparently its a play on Dutch doors, not that dutch people are cheapasses ;)

Its mindboggling how much feelings there is about this topics. Some of you mention that the man should almost wrestle the bill out of the womans hand. I wouldn't meet a man again if he did that to me. I want to pay for myself, and would feel disrespected if disallowed.

Yep. But really trying to stay away from my beloved PC and be more active :)

Hehe, of course there are norwegian girls allowing this as well - but that can be a bit of a russian roulette game. You might end up buying a drink to a girl who's fine with it, and then there are those who are really offended and take it as a sign that the buyer thinks she is cheap. :)

Hello everyone! I am a 26 yr old female with ~40 lbs to lose! I've been living with Juvenile RA for 10 years and AS for 3 years. It is my AS-diagnosis that really got me to kick myself in the *kitten* and make me decide to live healthier. I am trying to strengthen myself after 13 years of sedetary state (started off in a…

I just recently learned how big a culturedifference this is, with americans compared to where Im from (Norway.), from a online discussion where a american female was worried that her norwegian suitor didn't like her because he didn't pay for her part of the meal. When I visited US a while back and went out with a couple of…

Just joined the challenge today - but I do squats regularly (3 x 12 with dumbells) so it wasn't that big a shock for me. Day 3 complete! (15 regular, then 3 x 15 with dumbells)
