I just started back after falling off the weight loss train due to exercise injury. Ended up gaining back 35 of the 50 lbs. I'd lost. Looking for motivation so thank you for posting this! Please add me and I'll add you back. :)

RavenLibra, I've been on this site off and on for quite some time. I made the decision today to start logging my food and reading the community boards for support and inspiration. Thank you for responding to Reyangi, I don't know if you helped her, but your post was what I needed to read today!

The issue is your sister isn't supportive if you and on some level wants you to fail. It's very sad to know family members can do this. I have a few of these family members myself. What I've done is stopped telling these sabatours my weakness'. Find people who you know are supportive of you and cheer for your success' and…

Hi ladies, it was a little tough to find this thread again. Although I've been at mfp for awhile I still don't understand the forums too well. It's been a stressful week so far, my 4 nieces and nephews are staying with us this week. Juggling all their schedules, my own work schedule, cooking meals for 8 is not easy. I…

Beautiful smile! You are a great inspiration to all of us here at mfp...and to your players Don't who said this quote but: ,"hard work trumps talent every time"...keep up the great work.

Hi I'm new to this topic. You all sound so supportive and honest....I've been struggling since I joined mfp. Actually, I've been struggling to lose weight, keep it off and find balance in my life for years. I've never put my goals in writing but I think that is a good idea. Will think about what I want to achieve by the…

I don't know if I put down my starting weight but 3/13: 173 3/20: 172.5 lost a 1/2 lb. Lost 1" on my waist but my hips stayed the same. Started exercising more, so hopefully it will reflect in my weight next week. Keep Up the good work everyone!

Count me in, I want to lose 6 lbs in 4 weeks. I've been losing very slow, hopefully this will help..I need to push myself more with the exercise. Add me as a friend.

Hi I would try to eat a little more protein and a little less carbs. Also try adding weight training to your excercise routine. Are you drinking enough water? Drinking water is essential to losing weight. If your not drinking enough, your body thinks its dehydrated and you won't lose as much weight, if at all. Good luck…

I just turned 50 in January. I have 36 more pounds to lose. I want to lose this weight, and get in shape and NOT do this again. I need support and want to cheer on all who need a cheerleader in their corner. I find all your stories so inspiring....
