Congratulations, that's awesome! =) I've starting heavy lifting over the last few weeks and it's been great! I'm now less than 20 pounds away from my goal! I still have work to do, but results are the encouraging part. I hope everyone is feeling confident and energized!

Well, I was on vacation to see my family this weekend, so I ate more (and not quite so healthy), but I moved a lot more than usual and didn't gain any weight back, so I'm not going to dwell on it! I'm moving forward! Nearly done with the 30DS!

Man, it doesn't even feel like spring yet! I live in Chicago, and it's still in the 20s and supposed to snow more this weekend! Can't wait for it to warm up... It got into the 40s one day last week and I was basking =)

I only monitor sugar where it does not include fresh fruit. I say eat as much fresh fruit as you want! Although, I have cut out fruit juice. I'm 5'10" and started here at 169/170 lbs (I'm 162 now!). 3 years ago I was 140 so I set that as my goal, although I didn't lift weights while getting to that so I didn't have as much muscle as I wanted and I think that may be a little lower than I'd like to maintain. If you're a fan, any Bollywood songs are good for cardio. They're fast, upbeat, and each song is usually 5+ minutes long, which means that (for me at least) the workout seems to go by faster. It's all psychological =) Fewer songs get me longer into the workout!

On that note, don't necessarily pay attention to the "lose 20 pounds in 30 days" claim on the front of the dvd. It is possible, but look at your measurements and how you feel as an indicator of whether or not it works! This is my first month doing her calendar! I don't do all the videos though, because I'm still doing the 30 Day Shred. So instead of killing myself, I do the shred workout, then pop over to the calendar and pick 2 (usually) of the videos to do. After 30DS is over I'm going all out on her calendars!
