  • mine syncs pretty quickly, a few minutes after. But it will be based on when you wifi connect for the transfer of info. Keep in mind time zones too. If your trip crosses enough zones, you may loose days there. enjoy your trip!

My tumor was ER/ PR+ HER Negative , 1.5 cm, no nodes. found the darn thing on my first mammo. no family history of breast cancer. go figure. Tamoxifen since mid march and no real issues. • in remission from breast cancer, stage 1, grade 2, diagnosed january 2014, Just finished 26 radiation treatments and 8 "boosts". Back exercising now. My surgeon did not release me to exercise until 1 month post lumpectomy. Rad onc dr said swimming was OK during rad treatment as long as I covered the zone with Aquaphor or…
  • many thanks. are you related to my onc dr? She says the same thing! HA! I do feel better, sleep better, eat better when I get riding ( indoor or out). Just gotta get back to regular, even just 30 minutes or a block or two at a time.

  • As a rank amateur, beginner biker, my goals are Ride the indoor bike thru the winter at least 4 25 mile rides in the spring and 1 50 or metric century mile by end of season. Plan was work on form, strength and technique, then speed. But then best laid plans..... Will have to see what 5 weeks of radiation treatment for…
  • oh, I must a cranky old broad... I understand kids sometimes blurt out things and sometimes they are mirroring what they hear adults around them do. HOWEVER- a child must be taught what is OK to say in certain situations and her parents should have apologized to you when they found out and corrected the child ( even if…
  • I have the FT7. Love it. However, it does not sync with iPhone 4, or MFP. you must manually enter the cal bum. I use the Polar website to figure cal burn, then enter into MFP. However, I now have my eye on one of the polar HRM that sync thru blue tooth to the iPhone 5. You can get the FT7 to sync with polar if you buy the…
  • I have a spinner and Specialized Amira . Spinner gives a good workout, very bike like, but a trainer on your road bike is the best way to mimic that road training feeling, gear practice, etc. Most spinners are tension knob, not gear shifters. If you go spinner, go for a belt over chain- much less noise. Also at least a 40…
  • welcome to the carry a jacket bunch. Lot so f folks have the same complaint as they begin to loose the extra insulation and the thyroid adjusts. I guess by the time I hit goal, I will live in a parka from October to April! :)
  • Congrats! keep it going! And do the happy joy dance!
  • I will bet you will loose some weight. At least gain definition and feel muscle you did not know about. Your range of motion will increase too. Enjoy, have fun!

  • yes, they work well for any cardio workout. Get one you an enter your specifics into ( Weight, gender, age) and they can be very accurate. Some use them of weight lifting as well, but there are some just of this, if it is your thing. My Polar FT7 does great with DVDs, ellipticals, treadmills, indoor and out door bike…
  • any who would like, Feel free to add me if you would like. 45+, married , no kids, 4 cats. Have lost total of 40 lbs, I am refocusing again and getting back on track. Really rock it some day, others not so much, but I am working on it! Nagging, butt kicking allowed, as I will give it.
  • YOU ROCK! Congrats! the effort is soooooo worth it, as are you! keep it going! Welcome to onederland!
  • I like mine hot, like darn near nuclear. :explode: 7 pepper sweat 7 peppers of different types, heats and flavors. 1- 2 medium tomatoes 1/2 onion 1-2 cloves garlic cilantro ( 1/2 to 1 bunch, leaves only) salt to taste maybe a scant teaspoon of brown sugar toss in food processor, whirl until desired consistency the last…
  • congrats! for doing it the slow and steady wins way!
  • yep, darn things are like potato chips ( crisps), can't have just one. I ended up explaining to my brother in terms he understood: airplanes. He flies a Pitts 2c acrobatic, a Mooney (fast prop) and a multi engine jet. So he finally understood right toy for the trip. He just does not get the sweat part though.
  • Just remember to divide the distance by 4 ( paws) LOL! and he does extra wandering back and forth, sniffing. For dog walkers, the doggie leg hikes have to count for some thing!
