  • I was also born without a thyroid and I convinced my Dr. to switch me to Levothyroxine (Generic Synthroid) and Cytomel, about 9 years ago (I'm 35 now). That was shortly after I had my second baby where I also gained A LOT of weight. While it took a bit to find the right dosage, it has changed my life! I managed to lose 80…
  • I was having the same issues! I will definitely be trying these tips out tomorrow. Thank you!
  • I am 5'7" at 146# and I wear a 4/6 (mostly 4s) in pants and a S/M in shirts (I have a bigger chest).
  • My HRM showed 560 last night after an hour of hard Zumba. I am also 5'7" and I am 146. This is pretty close to ^

  • I'm at the end of Stage 1 and I am very rarely sore. Right before I started the program, I was taking BodyPump and I couldn't walk up stairs, sit down on ANYTHING..it was crazy but since I started NROL4W I have been barely sore just a few days. I was wondering if I was pushing myself too but my weights are increasing. I…
  • ME TOO!!! Wow..great job! I bet people that you haven't seen in a while don't even recognize you! What a great transformation! I sure hope you are proud of yourself
  • Have you made any major changes lately? ..change in medication brand, gain weight, change physical routine? That is usually what would cause me to be under medicated. Poor thing! No wonder you feel bad, I have experienced those levels before..NO FUN!! I sure hope your doc increases your medication right away. I agree with…

  • I think that is a good idea to have your Dr. to check those levels again. You might want to have your Vit D and B levels checked as well. My guess would be that your not converting your T4 to T3 correctly in addition to maybe needing to start some good vitamin D supplements..and maybe Vitamin B. You should not be feeling…

  • The most important question is, How do you feel? Are you still experiencing symptoms? I feel my best if my TSH is between .6 and 1 and I really haven't been paying much attention to my other levels. I also am not experiencing any symptoms so I am not really concerned. My endo treats more on symptoms than levels.
  • Does it count if I take the BodyCombat classes at the gym? I started a few weeks ago taking the classes and they are AWESOME!!! Great workout and amazing calorie burn.
  • ME TOO!! I love my kitchen scale..now my husband might be another story. He gives me looks when I measure everything..oh well, it really helps keep portions and calorie counting more accurate.
  • HA HA Now that is funny..thank you for the laugh
  • I have the same issue..I really don't care any more. Hopefully every person at the gym has nipples. If people are staring at you then that is their problem. I used to be embarrassed about it but honestly life is just too short and I have bigger issues to worry about. Now if you want to be really embarrassed you can…
  • That made my day! Thank you for sharing, I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time!
  • I would slowly start the transition to maintenance and you may find that you lose a few pounds along the way. You are already at a great weight so your body is not going to want to let go of those last 10 pounds (although I don't think you need to lose any more). Definitely continue with the weights..increase if you can…
  • You look GREAT!! What a change! BTW I think I found my 'twin' on here. I am also 33, 5'7" but I started 160 and have a goal weight of 142..awesome to see how potentially great I will look. Nice work TWIN!
  • You are doing GREAT!!! Congrats, you should be proud. HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! Keep up the amazing work!
  • My 'go to' drink :drinker:
  • I use my weekly calorie goal to determine my daily goals, if that makes sense..So I take my TDEE-20% and then I multiply that number by 7 to determine my weekly goal and then I zig-zag/cycle my calories. M: 1500 T: 1800 W: 1600 TH: 1600 F: 2000 S: 1600 SU: 2200 This gives me a little wiggle room and it keeps my body…
  • I take Vitamin D(also low) and besides a multivitamin, I take Mega Red krill oil (my good cholesterol is low), as well as biotin for my hair and lately I have been taking Vitamin B complex. I have been feeling so good lately, I am just going to stick with what I have been doing. Plus my hair isn't falling out any more…
  • Hi! I just sent you a friend request. I was born without a thyroid so I am very familiar with hypothyroidism. I am currently on 150mcg of levothyroxine and 5mcg of cytomel 3 times a day. Cytomel (t3) made a huge difference in how I feel. I have only been on it for about 6 years but I wish I would have added it when I was a…
  • GREAT JOB!!! You look so good!
  • 33 with 2 boys, 7 and 9 years old. I've lost over 70 pounds since the birth of my 7 year old..quite a while ago but now just working on those last 10 pounds. Support is SO important! I will send you a request!
  • DRINK THE BEER!!! Just make sure it fits in your caloric limits and ENJOY!!! Life is just TOO short..Now I want a beer! :drinker:
  • THIS!!! Perfect! This is exactly what I am doing and it is working. I am also eating TDEE-20% so keep that up too!
  • I don't have 'cheat' days but I do have a couple of higher calorie days where I fit in some 'fun' foods. I look at my weekly caloric goal instead of daily which allows some freedom. If I just let myself have a true 'cheat' day, I will eat a whole weeks worth of calories in a day. I CAN EAT LIKE A MAN!! A really big man.…
  • I am also a mother of two CRAZY but wonderful boys, 7 and 9 as of tomorrow. I have lost quite a bit of weight since the birth of my 7 year old but I really want to get healthy and fit. I will put in a friend request right now!!! We all need some great encouragement. So much better/easier when we have people in our corners.
