Honey, raw local honey seems to do it for me. Since I have hypoglycemia I have to be really careful about eating sweets.

Your veggies are only going to be about 50 calories per cup. The olive oil is where you are going to get a ton of calories.....119 per tablespoon. I use 1 teaspoon olive oil per cup of veggies and they turn out great.

I have the same problem, except it is after every meal. I am not hungry, I just want something sweet. I started using the 20 minute rule, and it is working so far. I use "Pure Protein" bars when I need a sweet fix. One bar has 17 g carbs, but if you can eat just one half of it, it would be only 8 1/2 g carbs. Sometimes one fourth of a bar is enough to satisfy me. You can get them at Walmart, Target, and Cosco.

Working 6 AM to 6 PM isn't leaving you very much time for working out. I'm guessing that's five days a week with two days off. Go ahead and eat the eggs. It has both HDL (healthy) and LDL (lousy) so it balances itself out. It may look like a lot of cholesterol, but that is because it adds both LDL and HDL together. Making a higher cholesterol count. Just subtract the cholesterol of the eggs from your overall daily count.
