  • I need to remind myself of how far I've come. I've achieved so many goals and done so many things yet I'm always dissatisfied. Yet when I picture myself accomplishing things or looking a certain way I seem to move in that direction.
  • I weigh nearly every day. It reminds me to watch what I eat and also to exercise. My weight fluctuates up and down based on water weight.

  • I go to a trainer. He does the caliper measurements every 60 days. I'm taking a lot of protein in lean chicken or fish and protein shakes. I'm also watching my calories from bread or sweets and slowly I'm adding muscle and trimming belly fat.

  • By the way that torso on my photo is my idealized self I use for motivation. Do you use things to help you visualize your ideal?
  • I'm a CEO from Florida. Talk about stress. Try running your own company. MFP has helped me lose weight. Now I'm trying to put on muscle. Maybe we can encourage each other or compare notes.
  • Diets important. But T goes down 1% a year as we age.
  • For me I questioned the doctor. Tests showed T to be normal but that's for my age. Doc says he puts it back to that of a 35 yo. He said if insulin was low I wouldn't hesitate to increase it. I trust the man. But I've had same questions as you.

  • Since it's all men can we talk about Low T? I have energy and normal libido. I'm not much overweight. But I complained to doctor I don't bulk up as much as I'd like considering the amount I exercise. So he tested my blood. My testosterone is "normal" but he says he can supplement it to what it was when I was 30. Plus Human…
