Currently reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I am hoping to get to 50 pounds lost (39 so far). When I reach 50 and my wife gets to 40 lbs. lost we are going to get an e-reader to reward ourselves!

Non scale victory. Something that shows you are going in the right direction and makes you feel successful other than the scale.

When I doubt the machine I am on or am using a machine or doing an exercise I don't know the calorie burn for I have used Fatburn.com's database. It has been very useful. You can input your weight and the type of exercise you are doing and it gives you the calories burned. http://www.fatburn.com/free_tool_activity_burn.asp
