I am gluten free plus allergic to six of the top 8. Let's see: * GERBS unsalted but roasted pumpkin kernels and sunflower kernels (the seeds are not shelled) * Enjoy LIfe now makes single serve, top-8 free trail mix. These are portable and great. * Freeze dried fruit * Glutino crackers and PB * Daiya makes dairy free…

I found that chobani plain doesn't have that many sugars. I would try doing your fruit at a different meal/snack. Currently, I get about 37 grams of sugar daily. I usually eat egg whites topped with Pace and shredded cheese or a protein shake (no sugar, mixed with water) along with coffee. There is about .4g of sugar from…

Give yourself a break! I have a few splurge days and get back on the horse the next day.

I have been on Zoloft for several years and lately, the more I move, the more I lose. For me, it's not the problem.

Thanks. I am six foot and currently weigh 225. I workout 4-6 times a week as well. That's good to know.
-
It totally depends. On my circuit/cardio/weight training days, I typically do 1 hour 50ish minutes to two hours. That's 3-4 days a week. On just cardio/strength days, I do about 45 minutes.
-
I did the 30 day shred when I was at my heaviest. It was hard to do all the jumping jacks but just take it one day at a time. I also did lots of walking.
-
I've never heard of it but am now off too google it and look at the blog. :)

AWESOME!! I started at 279 and am down to 225 as of today. I am not longer bigger than my 17 year old brother who's taller than me. I am also six foot. I still have a ways to go but am not that jiggly as I was. :)

Good for you!! :flowerforyou: I am not familiar with Power 90. But, I just googled it. If it's 30 minutes of circuits, I would log it under circuit. I've found that only "cardio" could to calorie intake so I usually log my circuits plus cardio and strength training.

Protein all around. I have 1620 daily and rarely go over. In the morning, I usually have coffee and a protein shake or coffee and egg whites with cheddar cheese and salsa. For lunch, I will have leftover chicken with a large salad or enchiladas (frozen/packaged) or Gluten free chicken nuggets. For lunch today, I ate…

Hey girl, I am 23 and I started using MFP last January and slowly saw weight come off. When I hit the 50 pound mark, I decided to get a trainer to help me out. I had little definition and didn't realize I needed more protein. He sees me below 200 however we are working towards 200 for right now. I spend six months of the…

I started at 279 and I am currently 225. My weight goal is probably 200 and then I will reeval after that. My trainer said he sees me at below 200 but we will discuss once I hit that. I am six foot.

Maybe I am overthinking this TDEE but I am a little confused. If my TDEE score is 2880. Does this mean I need to consume 20% less than the original score? So this would mean 2880 x .2 (20%) = 576 calories OR 2880 (-20% of the number is 576) minus 576 = 2304. Which is correct? Just a little confused.

Hi! I do weighted circuits and strength training three to four times a week, cardio 5-6x a week, and will be swimming quite a bit this summer. I loved doing the 30 day shread a few times too. When I really don't want to workout, I will take the dog for a walk or hit the stair master/treadmill for x minutes. I am also known…

I've found that if I indulge a little, it helps. I am not saying to have a pint of icecream but I am saying to indulge every once in a while. I love some Enjoy life chocolate chips in a serving size. I savor each bite. I also love an occassional diet cream soda. It's all about moderation though. I usually splurge…

Anything that I intake I count including fruits and veggies. I also count if I cook, saute, bake, roast, ect. I wouldn't see it as punishment; I'd just be honest about intake. Most, in moderation, aren't that bad in calories.

You are SO NOT ALONE! I started lifting weights regularly in December and haven't looked back. I can feel muscle in more and more places but can't wait for some of the belly fat to go away.
-
Breathe in and out! Set small goals such as water intake or protein intake daily. I also set goals for water by x time. As far as losing weight/sizes, I totally understand. My shirt size has gone down but my pant size isn't budging much. It takes time though. My pants feel looser daily.
-
Currently, I am in a 14/16 shirt. My pants haven't budged much however, they are getting looser. Pant size-20. I've lost three shirt sizes though. I am six foot as well. I started at 279 and my CW is 225.

HUGS! I deal with asthma and actually dealt with an asthma attack while doing the stair master yesterday. It sucked. The humidity and asthma just don't mix. I also deal with chronic sinus issues as well as sinus infections. There are some days that your body must rest. Doing too much can cause issues too. As far as advice,…

YES! I found out I was anemic a year ago and take iron every other day. I also take a B12 supplement that helps with the draining feeling. However, even without the "lady day," I am drained when I max out on weight or doing a tough workout. HUGS!

Yesterday was an hour of circuit training, 30 minutes strength training, and 15 minutes on the stair master. Personal records were 370lbs and then 460lbs on seated leg press, 90 pounds on straight leg/hamstring deadlift, and 100lbs on weight squats. Today, it was 30 minutes (very brisk) on the treadmill at a 7.0 incline. I…

As of today, I have lost 54.5 pounds since Jan of 2011. In those months, I had about five months of plateauing. I have kept it off. How? Exercising, keeping MFP accountable, and logging most days. Granted there are some days I splurge but I get right back on the next day. One day at a time!
-
Honestly, it varies. I plateued for three months while I built muscle. Keep up what you are doing. I've found that when I added in a protein shake, mixed with water, daily it helped. It's frustrating, trust me and the scale that didn't move for three months, but you will get over the budge.
-
This is a touchy subject for me. :grumble: The scale and I are finally on speaking terms after a few months of it not budging. Granted, I've been circuit training with weights so I built muscle. Anyways, I usually weight once to twice a week. The scale and I are back on speaking terms now.

I disagree with this. I drink herbal tea throughout the day and could the cups with my intake. I do not count Propel, for instance, with my water intake.
-
I truly think it's all about moderation. I LOVE the strawberries right now but also eat raspberries, blueberries, watermelon, and melons some. I could eat a pound of strawberries in one sitting and typically eat them on the days I do cardio and circuits.

92% of most milk allergics can not handle other mammalian milks. This includes goat milk. Have you had reactions to milk? I have food allergies and am just curious. Even though I can have milk, hemp milk is pretty good. I drink the Living Harvest one some.
