I was able to after having my daughter 13 years ago. Pre-pregnancy I weighed 160, I gained 22 pounds while pregnant, and with diet and exercise I was able to get down to 130 by the time she was 1 1/2. I had wanted to lose weight before having her, but I was more motivated after she was born.

Yes, I have also found that it is important to plan ahead as to not go over calories. Enjoy your meal out!

I'm with you! 5'8" and 180 pounds. Not feeling too good having gained 20 pounds in the last year while in my masters degree program. Graduating Friday! Time to get the weight off!

My belly fat and muffin top went away after a few months on cardio and good eating. You can strengthen your abs as much as you want but the fat will still be there if you don't burn it off.

I usually use Saturday or Sunday for my cheat day and I have lost 16 pounds since October. I don't go crazy overboard, but I am not so hard on myself. I need to do this to keep myself out of a rut. Keep in mind progress over perfection when it comes to weight loss.

Right now I have a spaghetti squash in the oven for tonight's dinner. I'll serve it with home made tomato sauce and soy crumbles. It is SO GOOD!!!!

When I was in shape I was a tiny A cup. Since gaining 40 lbs, I am a full B, small C. Yes, I will miss my boobies also, but I would rather be healthy.

After having my daughter (9 years ago) I lost 40 pounds in 6 months and I ALWAYS fit in 2 high calorie days a month. Those days always helped when I was stalled, I swear by it. I have gained 40 pounds in the last 2 years and am going to incorporate those high calorie days again this time in my weight loss.

LOTS of fresh fruits and veggies, tuna, cottage cheese, nuts, tortilla chips and salsa (my favorite snack). I have recently purchased a food scale and keep it on the counter with a basket full of zip-lock bags.
