Check out the app FitRadio .... it's kind of like Pandora but it plays upbeat music. Personally I'm a fan of the dubstep station. Other than that - most of my playlist is hip hop as well: Strange Clouds - B.o.B. Magic - B.o.B. Dance - Big Sean 3 - Britney Spears Till the World Ends - Britney Spears Ain't No Rest for the…

Not sure if this was mentioned since I don't feel like reading everything...lol Slow Cooker Pulled Pork 5 lb pork shoulder or butt in crock pot, add 2 liter of root beer (or enough to cover pork). Let cook on low for 6-7 hours. Pull out of slow cooker, dump the root beer, shred the pork. Mix with your favorite bbq…

I had LASIK done on 11/11/11 (at 11:11 A.M.! I know because they announced it over the PA system...haha) I absolutely LOVE my results... I have 20/20 vision in both eyes and no longer have to worry about glasses or contacts. I had an astigmatism and my dr. worked very well with it. The procedure itself wasn't bad at all...…

I also have a Polar FT4... love it. Paid $62 for it. I kind of think it makes working out more fun to see how many calories you're burning. It also makes me work harder toward my goal of burning at least 12 calories a minute.

I would imagine that she is saying that 1200 calories is probably the most she can get in in a day - a vertical sleeve physically restricts the amount you can eat - usually 1/2 - 1 cup of food per meal. So, the reduction in calories isn't generally a "rule" it's just we can't eat the amounts that someone with a normal…

I had my VSG surgery on July 20, 2011. This Friday (1/20/12) will be six months post op and I am down 78 pounds - from 264 to 186. I have about 30-40 more pounds I want to lose and I know I'll get there. I love love love my sleeve and have never regretted it. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it in a heart beat.…

I am six months out from my sleeve surgery and have been using MFP to track since probably a week post op. There is a way to put in a custom amount of calories, protein, carbs, sugar...ect.. that you want to have as your daily goal. If you go to your MFP homepage, and under "My Home" click "Goals" then "Change Goals" then…

Hi everyone! I had my sleeve done 7/20/11. I'm down 33 pounds so far or 27% of my excess weight. I'd love to have sleeve friends for food ideas and support!

I have taken Phentermine twice... one with success, one with not. Both times were the 37.5 doses. Both times I experienced a lot of nausea from the pills. That is ultimately the reason I stopped taking them the second time around. The first time I was taking the capsules and from July 08 - December 08 (about 6 months) I…
