I am just starting a Low GI eating plan as I am pre diabetic, I am finding information from internet searches and books. Its complicated because I cannot eat lots of vegetables due to other gastro issues but hopefully can find a balance. I am only on day 2. Hi I was diagnosed two weeks ago with IBS (constipated ) I am on fibregel but also trying a low fodmap diet. I feel so much better but not sure if its the meds or the food yet. Have lost 5llb though so maybe eating the gluten free bread and no pastries etc has other benefits as well.

I think you are seriously under eating and your body is hanging on to every calorie just to function. You need to reset your details and get a more realistic goal amount. May seem like you are to be eating more but your body needs it so it can work off the excess x
