😀 A warm welcome all new 1st timers to the challenges and hi again to those returning😀
The first time I joined one of these was the best thing I ever done, lost 32 lb in 4 months. It’s really nice to see how others are getting on and it’s a motivation to keep on track😀
Give yourself a motivation, this seems to work for me, maybe you have a break away booked, want to be a little trimmer after Christmas or even a getting ready for a wedding!
Pick your own goal, check in once per week and at the very end of the month. Let's keep encouraging each other & staying focused on our individual goals.
You can change the dates to suit you, but try to keep it weekly as it shows off the weekly progress better😀

The December challenge really helped me, so I definitely wanted to join the January one.
I don’t really like setting weight goals. Last month I set mine as not gaining, and I lost because I was able to control my behaviours very easily, as I was at home most of the month and we are under a virtual lockdown, so no social events to trip me up, and little stress. I expect January to be far more stressful as I mix in-person and virtual teaching with the school run and trying to make sure my teen is keeping up with virtual school, and starting an online qualification. While, ultimately, my results are determined by my behaviour, I know that stress determines how easily I control that behaviour. So my goal is fairly optimistic, but not unreasonable.
I’m logging today because I won’t be logging tomorrow.7 -

Yay! Glad to see you back. I lost 10% of my body weight on this challenge. Anyway, I've gained a few pounds back, not many, but I am really looking forward to participating in this challenge again. It does keep me on track.

So I’ve put on 15lbs since july, in fairness I’m surprised it’s not more, I’m aiming for 1-2lbs loss a week after the 1st week, I have no set in stones plans for this year so would like to just keep a steady pace throughout. I don’t really excercise so for me it’s down to calorie control and just trying to eat healthier. Good luck everyone😀😀

drink 12 Cups of water per day
walk 6000 steps per day (current average is probably 3000-4500)
meditate and/or do yoga daily
work on self esteem and do one self care activity (like a bath, pedi, etc) per day3 -

I have an auto immune disease and fibromyalgia that makes losing weight more challenging. But I am so tired of being this over weight and I am now pre diabetic. Time to turn it around. I am looking forward to cheering on everybody's progress.1
