I knew last week was a downwards blip, so not too fussed that today is up slightly. My scales showed under 30% body fat a few times this week for the first time in years, and while I don’t trust the scales, that’s still pretty encouraging.
I feel like I’m still on track to hit 61kg by the end of the month.

I have been trying to lose weight pretty much my whole life. I hate how I look. Nothing I've tried including being under the care of a doctor and personal trainer and still couldn't lose any weight.
My ultimate goal is 125 lbs because that's the last time I didn't completely hate my looks but I set 2 goals so it's a little less depressing when I don't get to that weight:

That's a mega loss! Was not expecting that but I am in my first few days of being back on the case properly so it makes sense. I track my weight daily on Happy Scale and it's an accurate result. I've been averaging 1750 cals and worked out twice (step aerobics) plus some short walks.
For years I didn't track daily, just weekly. Then I hit a month long plateau around 184lbs. After reading about how daily tracking can help show you how small changes affect your progress, and also show you micro fluctuations in weight over time I gave it a go and although it's not for everyone it really works for me, especially when you get to the weigh in day and it looks like a gain, but you know you have been tracking downwards on average. Worth a try if you plateau!
