Bad grammar and vocabulary! This goes for both sexes... If English isn't your first language, I completely understand.... But if you were born and raised here, typing "I'm so tried" makes me cringe!

Hi Ashton! I am 10 years older and 10 lbs. heavier than you are. However, I am also a full time student. As for cool exercise activities, I just take the stairs and try to schedule my classes in different buildings to force me to move my butt! I used to wear a pedometer and challenge myself to hit 60K steps for the week.…

Hi! I'm also in college. Working on my BS in Micro. I lost 50 lbs. a while back and left MFP. I gained it all back and then some.... so I got off my butt and came back to MFP <3 Congrats on your loss so far! That's really amazing. Don't stop and I'll be happy to offer encouragement (even though I am far behind in my weight…

OMG! I almost forgot to check in!!! According to RunKeeper, I have surpassed my goal. 92 TOTAL miles : ) The cold sucks! I may have to decrease it next month. Getting to the gym will be awful and being outside is not a happy thought in this weather.

1) Log ALL of my food bc I usually forget dinner. 2) Restart 30 Day Shred.

My school was holding a Biggest Loser competition. I knew I should lose some weight, so I went to check it out. I got on the scale thinking I was probably at 220 lbs. As the needle moved past 220, 225, 230, 235 and finally rested on 239, a tear rolled down my cheek. That's when it hit me. Take care of this now, or the…

I thought this was a REALLY good thread. As I was reading through the replies, I realized that my weekly goals are the same as a bunch of people. So, what I did to make things interesting: I made a list of everyone else's goals in a Word doc If something was repeated, I repeated it in the list. If someone said "Work out…

Amazing Progress! You look awesome!

This calls for no protein for a while, then you incorporate it back in. Yeahhhh.... Not for me. Also, as you know, diets are a set up for failure. Cutting out processed food is great because it forces you to be aware of what you're putting into you mouth. I use my diary for that. All those pills can't be good for you....…

Ask him to help you find a solution as husbands and wives are supposed to do. If you keep moving stuff, he'll get mad. Tell him that you NEED a compromise or you will have to re-work the budget to fit in a gym membership.... Then you'll have to compromise about where to cut costs. Either way, talk to him when you're both…

I got excited when I saw this! My first reward was a pair if running shoes after 15 lbs. Then I realized that I didn't want to focus on just weight goals. I made a goals and rewards list. Check it out for some ideas: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/998144-here-s-my-goals-and-rewards-list-where-s-yours I have…

That's it. October is over. I fell short. At least I have a baseline now : ) Ending at 73 miles/100. I think I'm ok with that. Now, where is the topic for November?!? I'll shoot for 85 miles since I'll be starting on time next month!!

This does not constitute as a Random Sample. You'll be getting very biased results.... especially if any of the apps include MFP. (I couldn't open the survey). Please re-visit your Statistics course..... or any Science based course.... to look into Populations and sampling. Good luck!

I Created a new exercise. When it asked for the time and calories burned, I use 28min and about 300 cals for level 1. I use my HRM to keep track of what I burn, but unless I have a bad day, Level 1 ranges from 290-315. Currently, I'm on level 2. This one had a wider range. The first few days, it was 380 cals. Now, it's…

That's the BEST kind of NSV! It shows that you are re-wiring your brain! That's the kind of change that will make this journey a little easier in the long run. Keep making those decisions instead of excuses! Wonderful work!
