Hi I'm Ashton Nicole I am 19 and currently over-weight. I weigh 237 and I'm suppose to way 160. I am currently a full time student in college. Looking for cool exercise ideas, and quick cheap recipes, to help lose weight.

Hi Ashton! I am 10 years older and 10 lbs. heavier than you are. However, I am also a full time student. As for cool exercise activities, I just take the stairs and try to schedule my classes in different buildings to force me to move my butt! I used to wear a pedometer and challenge myself to hit 60K steps for the week. Now I've upgraded to a Jawbone UP24. If you don't mind an orange or red one, they are 1/2 the price on Amazon. I got mine for $65 two weeks ago.
Also, I have found that I REALLY LOVE step aerobics at my school's gym. I schedule it like a class but I can only go on Mondays. I felt silly the first time but I felt like I was paying for a gym membership so I might as well use it.... even if it was just once a week.

As far as Recipes are concerned, I'll be honest, I use a crockpot for most of my cooking. I cook on Sundays and try to make it last the whole week. I don't do soupy stuff because I have cheap plastic storage containers and they tend to leak. You have to make sure to use the "Fresh crockin'" section of the website : http://crockingirls.com/recipes-category/fresh-crockin/

I like to use the crockpot because I can throw everything in before bed and turn it off in the morning. and section it into portions. I don't burn anything and It doesn't take too much time.

I agree with the crock pot idea -- and I can show you some fun well structured workout videos. Sending friend request.

Hi! Welcome. I started at 200 and I'm at 183ish right now. My goal weight is 130-135.

I thought it would be hard finding recipes that fit into my goal but I'm learning something new each day. I do a lot of cardio but have been adding in strength training. I like the Walk at Home Leslie Sansone videos, Dance Fitness with Jessica videos on YouTube and stuff from hasfit.com

    Good luck to you!
