Thats great! Well bread is definitely a huge one for me. I eat 2 slices every morning and could sit down and eat a whole pack of those Hawaiian Sweet Rolls so this is going to be a huge diet readjustment. Oh boy, what did I just get myself into?? Lol

I'm not Catholic but I do believe I'm going to participate in Lent this year to support a friend of mine. I'll be giving up flour based products. Bread, pasta, cookies, cakes, crackers etc. I think it's wonderful that your doing this in remembrance of your grandfather, I'm sure he would be proud :-)

Months ago I bought a pair of pants online just to get them in the mail and find out they don't fit. I had purchased pants from the same site before and had fit the exact same size. Today....I wore those pants to school and work!!!

It does running and brisk walking intervals. You run 3 days a week and after 9 weeks your ready for a 5k. As one of the other posters said, since you can already run a mile you could start a little further in the program. It's available in the apple and android markets

Have you looked into the C25k program? I'm not sure when your 5k is but the program is designed to train you to run a 5k in 9 weeks. I'm doing it now and running more than I ever thought possible! No, but I re-injured it after it was on the mend last time. I've not had any real problems from it (other than some swelling when I dont wear a brace and doing something hard on it) for months now

It really is a balancing game and finding out what works best for you. I start my day at 5Am for school and end my workday at 9:30pm. I workout after work because that is what works for me.
