In my experience guys want a girl who is thin, but then gets mad when we take the criticism to heart and become "too thin". There's a reason I hate guys and go after only girls :)

I guesstimate. Imagine you're walking a dog, and walk that fast. That's the speed I use.. but you can also buy a pedometer. They can be cheap or really expensive depending on what you want from it.

I did Insanity for only a month, didn't see any results either. And I'm suffering with an ED so I hardly ate along with it. Please don't be discouraged, your BMI is in the normal range! Stay strong beautiful!

Sorry I don't have an answer I just wanted to extend the question. I don't do any strength training AT ALL but would like to get started. I don't have a gym membership so at home workouts please. (Also I'm agoraphobic so don't tell me to invest in a gym membership please!)

Thanks guys!!! I've decided to go with baking my tilapia in some lemon and the brussel sprouts I'm going to make with some extra-virgin olive oil and oregano. I'm not a fan of either but my family is! (I'll be having some vegetables instead) I appreciate it guys!
