I've eliminated all flour from my diet. Not just wheat. I think it has helped with bloating. For a while I had more energy but that seems to be going away. Not sure why.

Thanks Howard. When I'm in a single, it's pretty easy to determine how long I'm rowing. When I'm in an 8 sometimes it seems I spend a lot of time sitting and it makes it harder to gauge.

My doctor has me taking chromium polynicotinate supplement. Also known as chromium GTF. It's suppose to help with cravings and help metabolize sugar.

The power curve shouldn't be symetrical. Most of your power should be coming from your legs. So you should have a quick spike and then a gradual down turn as your back and arms engage.

I would think pace would pertain more to the stroke rate.

Welcome to St. Louis. Missouri has some wonderful state parks. In the St. Louis area some favorites are Castlewood in Ballwin. Nice bluff views of the Meremac River.
