I am doing 5:2 and have lost 4lbs in the first 2 weeks :) it is quite tough to stick to on the 2 'fast' days but you just have to keep yourself busy and your body starts to get used to it. Around 3pm is the time I usually feel like giving up, if you can go about an hour when you feel like this then it passes! Good luck :)

Feel free to add me. I currently have only 3 friends on here because all of my others were fairly innactve and unsupportive :( I log nearly every day and don't miss out snacks etc :)

I have the same problem... I've found that the most important thing to remember is that when you eat something high calorie or you know you shouldn't of eaten (e.g. a chocolate bar) you shouldn't think you've ruined your diet for the day. Just because you make one slip up that doesn't ruin the rest of the day for you!…

I thought about having scampi and chips the other day in a pub but the pub had the calories next to the food... turned out the scampi and chips had over 1000 calories! so i had a grilled chicken and salad sweet chili wrap with a side salad :)

Hiya, I never allow myself a cheat day or meal, that could be why i feel the need to secretly eat these things i guess! Might try this for a couple of weeks and see if it makes a difference :) Thanks
