I haven't used my HRM at a Bokwa class as I find half the time it doesn't work anyway & it's uncomfortable (too sweaty). I just log it as high impact aerobics and get about 550 cals. I'm 5'8 and 173lb, I'm not sure what level the class is. I've been doing it since August. We do what I call the basics like C, L, Square, the…

I do Bokwa and certainly couldn't do it at home. It's an hour long, non stop, very high energy, has a high calorie burn, the steps are easy to learn as you always go back to one set of steps. I love it

As I don't use my HRM for that class I put it down as high impact aerobics so get about 550 calories. I love Bokwa, go twice a week my instructor does other sessions away from my gym and I try to go…

I do Bokwa and love it. I find that although it's continual movement, I am able to keep up as the steps are repeated (without it being too repetitive). It's a really high calorie burn too & you get very sweaty! I hope you go & enjoy :-)

I haven't tried my HRM as I find it doesn't like this type of exercise. I'd be very interested to know what someone logs…
