  • Thanks for the advice everyone, very helpful!
  • I have the polar ft4. It's the only hrm I've ever bought so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'm really happy with it. The chest strap sits just below my sports bra so I don't even notice it, and the results seem pretty accurate.
  • I used to go to a gym that was really busy during the lunch hour and mornings so they had settings on the cardio machines that timed out after 20 mins. I would say that as long as you are actually using the equipment (as someone above said, it's so annoying when someone is using the machine you want just to sit!) and you…
  • Hey, I'm Christina, 23 from London. I'm currently in post-grad education and spending a lot of time working from home so I'm finding it really difficult being so close to food all the time lol! I'm aiming to lost around 2 stone, exercising around 3 times a week at the gym with some occasional swimming thrown in. Feel free…

  • Thanks to those who have said about planning meals, that's a really good idea. During the week I have structure as I know what I'm going to have for breakfast and lunch, so I will def start thinking about what I'm going to eat at the weekend in advance.
  • Thanks for your reply :) My intake for Monday to Thursday is accurate, and I've updated Friday and Saturday to show what I ate. What do you think I should set my intake to?
  • This happened to me when I was on citalopram (think that's what it's called). I just found that instead of wanting to sit around/lie in bed all day, I actually wanted to do things and go places. Just this alone must have burnt loads of calories, and I noticed weight falling off me.
  • I was really concerned when I read the title, was thinking 'how the hell is this an nsv' lol. Congratulations :D
  • I use olive oil and lemon juice, plus salt but if you're trying to cut that out then it's probably not a good idea lol!
  • Hiya. Sorry I can't help you with your question, but I also want to know the answer! I was also wondering how many inches/cm you are hoping to lose a week? Generally people say you should lose 1-2lbs a week, and so managing this means you are on track, however how do you know whether you're on track with inch loss?
