  • Hey ctipton86, Glad you're committing to Insanity, it's a great program and I completed it a while ago when I was actively coaching for Beachbody. No longer doing that so don't worry, this isn't a solicitation post. It's going to be rough getting going at first. Each program is roughly 45 minutes or so. Like Alana Tedmon…
  • I'm just getting people's opinions of it, because I'm intelligent enough to know that it's not for everyone. If i wanted to sell it to the masses, I would just post, "Hey everyone, I'm a Beachbody Coach so buy from me". Don't presume to know what my motives are. My responses should easily indicate that I'm not trying to…
  • How much do you spend on each meal on average? I'm sure it's more than $4 a day. Just saying. It may be expensive but really no more expensive than if you buy lunch everyday or eat out a couple of times a month.
  • Not everyone loses weight at the same rate and I'd ask what other activity either of you are doing so you can compare apples to apples.
  • Great job, keep up the good work.
  • There is a such thing as being allergic to bananas just like any other type of food. The reactions are different for everyone. Some break out in hives, some vomit, and other wind up getting rushed to the hospital for more severe reactions. Best thing to do is avoid them altogether and see an allergist just to confirm.
  • It may be a good idea to get a heart rate monitor or some other type of monitor that measures your calorie burn. You will hear Shaun T mention check your heart rate as you get in to the next couple of days. I'm on week 6 now and I finished up Max Interval Plyo yesterday. All I can say is prepare yourself!
  • Agree with Foot56, what is your workout like? Your body may be used to the workout and you may need to increase what you are doing. Also, what are your meals like? Not many people know it but 3500 calories is equal to a pound of weight.
  • Yokosuka, I am retired Navy myself. It's not unusual to plateau for a little while before you start to notice a little more progress. I will say this though, it's possible to add muscle on top of fat if you didn't shred the fat before hitting the weights real hard. Keep at it and you will eventually start to see more of…
  • The first thing I would ask is what is your diet like and what type of exercises/workouts do you do? Simple things like drinking water instead of juice or soda will get rid of quite a bit of calories in your diet. Instead of foods with added sugars, eat fruits and vegetables for snacks. Stay away from boxed, processed food…
  • Don't quit, keep pressing play and you will get stronger. P90X is one of Beachbody's more advanced workouts, however it is not the most difficult. Insanity is P90X on steroids. What prompted you to want to start with P90X? Did someone advise you to try that? As someone else mentioned, it's not necessarily for those that…
