I find myself struggling getting to 10,000. I have quite an inactive job, translating at a desk. Often up to 12 hours a day. With the remaining time, I find it hard to get to that 10,000. Any advice?

I say "no thanks", but often get annoyed and even angry at people having this food around me. I know it sounds silly, but I can get frustrated with people eating something they should not have, since it could jeopardise their health. At other times, I crack and give in. Feeling horrible afterwards of course.

I don't really reward myself because I'm trying not to see this as a diet but a lifestyle change. The weight going down is the main reward in my book.

Could it be down to boredom? When I'm busy, I can stick to my diet without problems. If I get bored, I'm more likely to fall off the wagon.

Thanks girls! Now I don't feel so alone with this problem anymore. It was doing my head in, and sometimes you start to think "why does this always happen to meeee?" But obviously I'm not the only one... I'll stick to my exercise regime and diet for now and hope for the best on tuesday ;)

I know how you feel. But know you are strong and you are so much better than her. People like that are deeply unhappy themselves and therefore try and crush others. You are taking your life in your own hands, and you should be proud of that. Btw, gz on your 2 pounds well done!

I tried to pack up smoking with a previous diet, but that failed and so did my diet. I'm only concentrating on weight loss at the moment, and later on I will pack up smoking as well. It's hard to do both at the same time.

Yes, I did feel quite sore today, especially the back of my legs (since they aren't use to running anymore). I had a rest day today purely out of fear of injury.
