The post-workout nap
Just curious to learn how many of you have a post-workout nap. When I was a dancer, I didnt need one, even after four hours of training. Since I started crossfit, I find myself needing the nap. Anyone else with some insight regarding this?

Even on my rest days I feel like I could constantly use nap. It is not limited to exercise though, even something as basic as…

Good intentions turn bad when boredom hits.
Hi guys and girls, A problem I've been struggling with lately, and I could really use some advice for, is what to do when I get bored. My situation is this, I am a translator and work from home. However, that does not mean I don't do some serious hours, because I've been averaging on 14 hours per day over the past couple…

Dizziness when exercising in hot weather
So I cannot seem to figure this one out. I can exercise normally when it is not too hot and I'm totally fine. Since England was struck with this heatwave, my exercise has gone downhill. I keep on getting dizzy when only 10 minutes in my workout, so I make sure I drink plenty. However, there is not much point in a high…

Portion Control
Hi Guys & Girls, A quick question for my fellow dieters. I've been jojo dieting for several years and have finally gotten back on the wagon. My biggest problem is not eating healthy or getting exercise, it is portion control. For some reason, I never feel full and always want more. Can anyone suggest some tips and hints to…

Step Counter
Hi Guys & Girls, Just a quick question. How many steps per day is ideal for reasonable weight loss (2lbs per week). This in combination with a healthy diet of course. Since I have a desk job, I have no idea how many steps would be considered as active. Thanks in advance.

Almost 40lbs lighter and feeling great
I started my weight loss journey in May and I now nearly lost 40lbs (hard to believe right). I thought it was time to post my progress and give some motivation to people in need (I hope). I took of photo of my holiday last year, where I was seriously unhappy and big, and one from this year happier and a little lighter.…

Question for the women
Hey girls, A bit of a personal question but experience is probably the only thing that can help me at the moment. Can't beat plateau
I been getting really frustrated this week as I can't seem to get over this weight plateau I been struggling with. Finding time to exercise...
I know it sounds like an incredible cliche, but after work I'm usually so tired I either fall straight asleep or I have to do some washing and cleaning around the house. Seems like I'm always running out of time to exercise or just am too tired to do it. And I suffer from CFS so that doesn't help one bit. I get tired so…

Lost motivation after some weightloss
Hi everyone, Been losing a fair amount of weight this week and I'm on the right track. What I do notice is that when I lost a certain amount of weight, I tend to lose my motivation. It starts slightly with an occasional naughty treat, but after a while I fall completely back into bad eating habits. I don't know why,…

Eating healthy costs
Although I can maintain my diet pretty well atm, I have been noticing that eating healthy comes with a very heavy price tag here in England. Prices of good food is nearly trough the roof whilst junk food is dirt cheap... And they wonder why the UK is having so many people who struggle with obesity!
